Always enjoy your videos Rion ☺. Would love if you would consider visiting Hitachi Seaside Park in October. It was on our list, but unfortunately, did not have the time. Congrats on reaching 180 K subscribers!
If I'm not mistaken, the name tag shows "Brianna"(?) 😆 It definitely isn't the Chinese translation of "Stephen" "使堤芬" Maybe this is more commonly done in Mainland China but not in Hong Kong. Hong Kong people just say someone's English name in English. 😄Anyways, let's keep walking, 石田先生!加油(がんばってね!)💪
I'm glad I went to Japan in mid January. It was less hectic. I want to stay a full week in Yokoyama. Whenever I want to go to any districts in Tokyo, I'll just jump on the Toyoko line, and catch another line from Shibuya.
You make Tokyo seems so easy to navigate. I'm so looking forward to visit Japan again one day. Ichiran ramen is in my to-eat checklist. While I can get it from Don Quijote to cook, but it won't be the same. It had been a while since you visit Ikebukuro, is it still nice over there? I miss Odaiba too.
Is that eating area the place overlooking the Hisamitsu office? I find it nice coz I actually recognized that office because of the salonpas commercials.
Late uploads in bed We love Ichiran! 私たちはこれらの散歩を共有するのが大好きです ~~ Another onsen/ryokan video OR secret food spots -- a day trip from Tokyo would be yabai!
Evening rush hour yep all the same at least developed countries like Japan there is the train station and subways more faster the pace Here long line traffic jams roads
Hi Rion san, I love your videos! They really encourage me for my trip to japan in a few days 😊 quick question: in ichiran restaurant do you call staff to take away your bowl once you have eaten or do you just leave the bowl on the table and leave? Just want to know what to do so I don’t embarrass myself 😅
Guys, has Rion ever made a vlog going to Hachiko's grave and his master? If not, hopefully Rion will read this and make a vlog to Aoyama, the place where Hachiko and his master are buried.😊
Gao, I think your next video should be a map tour of the trash cans in Tokyo . Like a trash can map so we can find easily. It's like a challenge until you find 20 you cannot go home and you can only walk 😂
Hello Rion, could u visit Ikebukuro to do a walk around? I’ll be there in Dec, hoping to see the surrounding and know what’s there to do and eat! Arigato! Gaooooo!
Just found your Channel, Thank you so much for sharing, so nice to watch. I appreciate your かわいいsmile during all that interesting exploring. ありがとうございますした😊
When I think of Chestnuts (Kuri)it's usually during December (Christmas time here in the US). Like the Christmas song, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jackfrost nipping at your nose." 🎶🎄😊
Going to Japan in November, a friend wants to go to Fuji-Q but I said no because I don't want to freeze going 130km/h in 2 degree weather. 😑 Instead I want to hike Mt. Fuji 🙃
My husband and I are visiting the beginning of November! Are there any festivals at this time? Where is the best place to see the autumn leaves? I read that apple is a popular flavor at this time too
Nice! Thank you for the Tokyo uddate :) Strawberry and mango are perfect for cakes :) Japan just have the best whip cream 😋 aiya now I want to eat a cake! Love it when you introduce sweets!
What a wonderful video! Always fun to see local atmosphere and eat meccha oishi food 🎉 Thank you Rion! Take us to Arashiyama and try Takara Sushi たから寿司.
Same, would love to know as I'm planning to travel there Sept 12th-30th but after seeing the typhoon hit and more on the way I'm hesitant. I thought it would be a good time to avoid the heat and crowds.
Love Ueno…living in Japan over 25 years…didn’t you see the bug..mushi vending machines under the JR line? I cannot stand!! Come to Fukuoka and have real Ramen!! I’m here!!
Oh, I thought at first, you'd gonna buy some drinks to match the yummy mango strawberry cake! Wow, but to my surprise, haha😂 iced coffee came in late after a long walk. Lovely Ueno park at night! Gaooo🦁
Very glad to see another travel video. I was excited to see that you went to Ichiran like I suggested in one of my previous comments. I look forward to your future travels and the success of your channel! Maybe once day you'll even go to Himeji or Mino when you're back in Osaka. Keep up the good work :)
Another great video! Tom and I can’t wait to travel to Japan! We are hoping to go in a couple of years for my birthday. That cake looked so delicious! If I ate a piece of cake like that, I’d have to keep walking! 😂
Banh Mi, This could be Thai, it sounds like a Thai word to call Chinese Ramen, Banh (บะ) is Pork and Mi (หมี่) is Chinese Egg noodle in Chinese Southern Min accent, Which are spoken by Chinese community in Thailand, So may be Crazy Banh Mi shop is a Thai or Southeast Asian style Ramen shop.
Rion, have you tried the shimanami Kaido in onomichi before. Me and my wife went there last October and it was nice cycling in onomichi. Maybe it will be a good video for us your followers to watch~
Thank you so much for sharing such good videos.. I enjoyed watching your videos...maybe you can also have an updated video in nagoya area/hiroshima/shirakawago...Thank you
The post- typhoon but still rainy atmosphere in the town for a change as related to long hot summer makes diference. The Tokyo Station less cowded after the caotic situation related to the cancelled trains due to typhoon. Your fancy mango strawberry cake must have been extra yummy, but unfortunatelly gone so fast. Anyhow Tokyo station is less crowded but the trains are full, less problem for a short distance. The chessnuts sweets are my favorites, so it was inviting watching you enjoy yours. A lot of people still in Akihabara even without travelers. Kanji names are super interesting. As for me so far the cutest gatchapon articles are your small animals in completed serial. But as soon as you stop in front a clow machine it makes me nervous. What a choice of wòoden crafted articles and traditional toys. Well, the whole bowl of Ramen less expensive than the fancy cake!!! Your cafe latte in the end and finding a trash can to round up the experience. By the way your shooting in dark environment is also interesting, so no problem. Till next video, mata ne and Gaoooo....
Thanks for showing Ueno and ending w a ichiran dinner, my family will be going to Tokyo/Hokkaido in Dec 2024 (we went to tokyo/kyoto/osaka in 2023 nov too) and my kids miss ichiran so much so its good to know there is 1 near where we will be staying 😊
Very true summer vacation finishes autumn starts again and a bit empty only busy morning and afternoon evening rush hours the normal routine everywhere
Thank you for your video. I will be visiting at the beginning of October, so I anticipate that it will be even less crowded. We will be staying in the Ueno area and I already had Ichiran Ramen on my list of places to eat.
I'm going to Tokyo on 2nd October and I really love watching your videos for recommendations. I really wonder what the weather will be like in October considering it seems to be still very hot at the moment
I'm not sure about Tokyo, but when I was in Osaka in June, in the konbini I saw some beverage put in freezer for some reason. Intentionally letting them turn to ice. Any idea why is that so? Ichiran now no longer has macha pudding and ramen no longer has nori. So sad.
We often make frozen tea with bottle so that even in the hot day we can drink Ice cold tea... We need to wait until it's defrozen by the heat though, so just drink it little by little..😂
Hey Rion, thanks for posting videos so often, I really look forward to them and learn a lot! I was wondering if you could maybe film a video in/around Sendai in the near future! Thank you! Gaaooo!
15:45 There's several of that in Manila, Philippines. I've tried the milk something flavor, I forgot the exact name of the flavor and I quite didn't like it - maybe because I really don't like milk coz the milk taste was overpowering. When I visit Japan for the first time next month, I'll try that and compare the taste! hahahahahaha
It's been nine years since we last visited Japan. We will be visiting again in mid November, arriving in Tokyo and visiting Kyoto, Osaka and Kanazawa. Hopefully we will get to see some fall colours and are lucky with the weather.
My friends was having a miserable holiday , stranded in Tokyo affected by typhoon past week. My first a trip to Japan in Oct & Nov.coming soon, very excited . Rion I'm watching your video ever night. Love your video and your friendly smile on camera.
Rion, I have been watching you for two years now! I love your videos! I hope you can do more night videos. I think the city at night is gorgeous and seeing what you can do at night that isn’t for 18+ is fun 😅
