OMG you're a life saver. i tried it and it works I have droopy eyes and It made a big difference. I used the band and poppy pins strong ones that held my hair and the band for longer hours.THANK YOU!!!!
Awesome thanks so much I have been using a massive normal bun holder clip, this is a better idea as its hidden. Just hoping were not stretching our skin, yet better than the cost of a facelift LOL
You can get a a large container of these rubber bands super cheap. Cut the rubber band off to remove, don't pull out. This will help prevent excess hair loss from pulling it out.
I used to do this hack in the 6th grade. I wore my hair halfway up though because back in 1989 that was the style. I did it for my eyes. My eyes are deep set so I wanted to change it. Even a full ponytail will do the trick, it just has to pull your hair/skin tight enough.
Whoa, 6th grade. You were a sophisticated 11 year old! I used to want my eyes more upturned at that age, but I had no idea how to do it except with my fingers in the mirror.
It was good of you to warn people that they should not do this daily because they can become bald and it is true . I fell for it few years ago and I nearly went bald from this because I had such a bad insecurity that I did it everyday . I didn't know any better I was only 15 but now I'm lucky and I have been mentally treated as well and I'm lucky to have my hair back and no scar tissue but if I had carried on and didn't go for treatment I would have had scars and baldness so it's very important that RU-vidrs WARN people that they should not do it daily FOR IT will lead to baldness and extraordinary pain and it just leaves you being even more insecure in the end it's not worth it so I thank you for at least mentioning the consequences.

You can use lifting tape or extension clips connected to a band or strap. Then put a wig over that. This is what they do in the movie industry. It is a complete pain but it works.
@@evelynr9305 Yes I do it everyday, I had no hair loss. I just twist the hair from each side, and hair spray that little bit of hair. I then put my head upside down to tie the two sections using a strong elastic, smaller the better.
@@chompchomp7853 how do u take off the elastic without losing hair(becuase my hair falls of when I do that)and when do u do it everyday do u do it tight?thank u for ur advice I'll try to do it in that way.
I figured this out on myself but it doesn't work for me. The bands loosen up and I was constantly tightening the bands and it hurt my head. After taking the bands out which was a pain, ouch! my head was so sore.
Yeah I’m already super crazy bald. Gonna get me some sideburn wigs 🤪 I do mention to do this on occasions. Not all the time. But you know people, they don’t listen. They will have sideburn wigs!!
