Billy and Jo, I truly believe that if Graceland was to announce you two and family would be at Elvis Week, it would have to be turned into Elvis Month, there would just be no way they could handle the amount of fans that would show up. Unfortunately she was just learning these things but a few years before she died. And at this time she was dealing with her mother, Lockwood and the death of her son. Lisa was very close to the Smith family up until after her grandfather (Vernon) passed away and being put into Scientology.
Like Disneyworld, Graceland is a business run by corporate interests whose main focus is on generating revenue. Some of these questions are out there. Billy and Jo were the closest to Elvis and they should know what Elvis was all about. He confided in Billy a lot and Billy has kept all that for many years. Billy & Jo loved Elvis as he did them and they all respected each other.

Billy said it all, Soden and Priscilla said and did whatever it took to make money for the Business that was Graceland. Priscilla wanted to make it look as if she was the one and only authority on Elvis and Soden helped her believe this because she was his go too. I personally believe, Billy knew what was true and told it without hesitation and they didn't like it. Good for Billy and Jo, for always being true for Elvis even when it may hurt them.

In Linda's book she wrote that Vernon told her to come to Graceland on the plane he was sending to Priscilla. Priscilla did not want her to fly on same plane. Linda didn't go on that plane. It's told from interviews done with her friends, family, classmates and boyfriends. It is a completely different picture of her than the one she tries to portray. Completely different!! Priscilla was legally prohibited from using the PRESLEY name so no Elvis did not want to get back with Priscilla. In regard to the question about June Juanico, according to information online, Elvis dated June Juanico in 1955 and 1956, so Billy was only around 13 years old and probably wasn't around Elvis as much then as in later years which could explain why Billy never knew her. Just a thought!
Agree that at Billy’s age he may not have been aware of everyone that Elvis dated. According to June’s book, she was the one who became engaged to someone else while Elvis was in California so I think it is newer fans who are confused about the relationship. I know she and Anita, appeared together at events and/or interviews so they certainly knew each other. There’s plenty of photos and film that confirm June’s relationship with Elvis during their time together.
Elvis made people who he was with feel special, he was like that, really genuinely interested in people, that's why many people say they were his best friend, like that. it's unheard you're not asked by now at Graceland... you belong there really. I think Elvis just had the ability to be "present" whenever he was with these women, which clearly made them feel special. I just don't see how one can be "in-love" with all of these women and then move from one to the next in a blink of an eye. Elvis simply wasn't ready to settle down, but maybe that would have came a little sooner, if his life had not been interrupted by a "forced" marriage. I like Anita because she didn't seem to have a problem speaking her mind to him, which was a good thing. Thanks for answering that question, "If Elvis could be attracted to a woman who birthed a child." If you could expand on the reason why, that would be great. I think it would be very very helpful for Billy and Jo to listen to June’s book. It’s a great book! It is the best book about Elvis IMO, it’s a sweet love story. and then they could review the book, because they are getting questions and they don’t have much insight on her. She was before Anita, Jo would have never had the chance to meet her, and very unlikely Billy met her the few times she was in Memphis. She is in an assisted living place now not in the best health, and she deserves more respect than what’s she’s getting here. Kind of how Billy deserves more respect from EPE. On another note if Billy, Jo, and Ginger would bury the hatchet and team up they could carry the legacy of Elvis better than anyone else involved. Ain’t nobody getting any younger and it’s a shame to leave this world at odds when y’all could work together and bring so much positivity as a team.

I read on a Press Release for Lisa's Book coming out in October, & also Gracelands Official Newletter I get Emailed that Riley has said the "AUDIO" BOOK" Version will have "Special Extras" on it, like excerpts of Lisas voice reading passages from the tapes she made to go into this Book. I've pre-ordered the Book but may get AudioBook as well to see what's Extra on it! Thought just mention in case others hadn't heard!

Families often have disputes that cause division (mine, too), unfortunately. Maybe after Priscilla has “moved on”, Riley can (hopefully) mend the breaks in the family and the Smiths can visit Graceland once again. I know the fans will absolutely love it!!!

There was a loan on Graceland before Elvis passed away (for the divorce settlement). Priscilla sued Vernon after Elvis passed away (like she did with Riley). After Vernon passed away, Priscilla had to share the trusteeship with the National Bank of Commerce in Memphis and Joseph Hanks (accountant). There was also the Judge Evans who obliged the co trustees to sue Colonel Parker/RCA after the file of the attorney taking care of Lisa interest.
I totally get what you’re saying regarding family/ friends as I’ve gone through the same after my husband passed away , so many changed & have nothing more to do with me or my children& grandchildren.
Billy and Jo probably are not aware of what Priscilla did in April 1977 when she absolutely did put a huge lien on Graceland after Elvis changed his will in March 1977 where she was not named in the will. She did this to ensure that she would be paid for all the monies owed to her after the second divorce settlement where she took Elvis to the cleaners. The documents regarding this lien are out there to view and have been discussed on other RU-vid channels. So yes Priscilla absolutely did put a lien on Elvis’ beloved home that he bought for his Mamma. What a horrible thing to do to the father of your child and as Priscilla says the love of your life! Elvis was divorced for close to five years. Old fans know that Elvis didn't like to be cuckolded. It was a hit to his ego, a public embarrassment to his image that he guarded. Thank you for your honesty about all the ?'s. I'm hoping Riley stated things in the upcoming book, truthful the way Lisa stated. You all are wonderful to have to tell stories about Elvis. You are all down to earth, and you are right, no one is better than anyone else. As for Lisa losing Ben, it is hard to lose a child, but also the fact that it was suicide, that is another hard issue. My son lost his best friend to suicide, so I know how it affects him. He never forgets. He runs a race every year in memory of him. This happened in 1999, in his senior yr of high school. There's NO WAY Elvis wanted to get back with an evil woman that was suing him a 3rd time in March of 1977. Billy & Jo had already answered this question numerous times.
