I seriously love you Nadia. You get it, I've tried to have conversations with my mother and all I get back is "repent" "you will never be worthy enough" blah blah blah....but you....you GET it. No one should fear God just as NO ONE should have to fear their own parents.
It saddens me when bible quotes or knowledge are inadvertently used out of context to push people away from God. Fear is good, but God is LOVE! #justsaying
Something is not right with her Spirit, she needs to repent for her vulgar attitude. If she thinks its clever to talk like that because she's trying to relate to today's culture She is wrong, we are in the world but not off it. Is this the start of the great falling away having a form of Godlyness but denying the Power of the Gospel? Repent guys, the Lord is coming soon, Repent means to change direction and follow the Lord. 🙏
I actually love this woman. I don’t completely agree with everything she says. I don’t believe that she has a dogged loyalty to the word of God. In some sense there seems to be a lack of devotion to the word. That is a bit of a problem for me. Yet, her candor is in someways very refreshing. I think there is a way to do what she is doing and stick to the doctrine. I think there is a way to be very real. The world needs real. I will grant you that the idea of real to the world is a deceptive one and yet humanness is real. She has this in abundance. I pray that she would use what her obvious gifts are, (A heart connection to people and the willingness to put her brokenness on display) to promote the true gospel instead of a humanist agenda. There are tons of preachers that are more biblical than she is but almost none that are is tangible. I pray that God would use her mightily to bring the people in to his fold that would never consider themselves “church people”. I pray that she would bring people into church who can’t be reached by John MacArthur. I pray with all my heart that what is perceived in her as a desire to be deceptive is actually a temporary lack of true biblical understanding that we all have from time to time, Even those in leadership. If she cares for people the way it genuinely seems that in some real way, her heart is right.
And some people have nothing. You speak the truth - people dont believe you anyway. Some people have no family and friends and either no one believes them or theyll tell them they did something to deserve that. If your parents didnt love you people believe that is right. YOU REPENT FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDNT DO. And you dont even know what that is.
Have a Little Faith -- catchy phrase, sounds like good advice. but the question I've never heard her answer is faith in what? Christianity teaches that we are to have faith in the finished work of Christ for us on the cross, and only through Christ can sinful humanity be reconciled with a holy God. By contrast, her message seems to be have faith in yourself, because you're good enough just as you are. You don't need anyone to die on a cross for you, because God loves you just the way you are. This is the religion of Oprah Winfrey, not Christianity.
Lol. Exactly, Tim. I left the Christian faith because of this narrow "you need to believe exactly the way I do" attitude. Now I have a personal one on one with an all loving God, without the "interpretations" of a bunch of others.
At what point did you get told you were better than someone that swears? We're all the same. You aren't better just because you don't swear, just more dishonest about your real truth.
