I bought this a year ago. It work so good. But after one year the receiver battery is failing. So if you want to get this. Please keep in mind it wont long last. And you cannot replace the battery
I had the first gen of these but returned because the latency was just a little too much for live streaming. I am using the hollyland lark and they are fine.
I am trying to decide between these three setups for weddings. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Saramonic Blink 500 Prox B2 SMALLRIG W60 Godox MoveLink II M2 *Edit Or, is there anything else in this price range that you would recommend over these three?
Definitely Smallrig. The usability on the 500 Pros is really bad. A lot of work to adjust volume, etc. Plus the connectivity isn’t as strong as the other two. The Godox and Smallrig likely have the same internals, but the Smallrig is easier to use.
Hi I need wireless mic what i will be able mount on the boxing ring to record sound from the boxing ring... boxing ring will be arround 50 meters away from my desk... you think that mic set will be good for me? There will be a lot of people beetwen me and the transmitter... that is why im not sure if that is good option for me. I will be gratefull for your respond.. cherrs
Yeah the “lots of people” thing would give me pause for sure. Especially indoors. That stuff is easier outside, where I do most of my work. The wmicS2 could be more ideal, as it uses UHF, which is less prone to “lots of people” interference.
I tried the K2 pro’s and they had intermittent signal drops. Just little half second blips every minute or so. Tried a second set, did the same thing. Can’t trust them for work.
I can’t say for sure, but I doubt the Boya ones are quite as good. That being said, I think Boya might have sent me them to compare, so if they appear I’ll let you know ;)
I can get the first gen M2s for 166 euro, whereas the second gen costs 219 euro. I just use them indoors at the moment. Would you say the second gen is worth the extra 60 euro?
Odd, they’re supposed to be the same price. As long as you’re not going to be a fair distance away from the camera or through walls, there’s nothing wrong with the first version.
It may surprise people to know that my relationship with Godox is still pretty tenuous. They’ve only sent me a few wireless mics to test thus far. Everything else I’ve tested of theirs has come from other sources (many of which being my wallet? Lol). And since I already have a few tube lights, I can’t really justify buying more for testing. Send me a review unit Godox! Haha
