Brother, I wish you could take time to pray and read the bible to find the truth about who is only One true GOD? Who is the Father of Christ (son of God)? Who is christ? What's the relationship between God and His Son?..remind you most of SDA pastors they know the truth ..and they know why they don't tell the bible truth as it is 😢

Recently I was discussing this topic with the my church family. I mentioned the centurion and Mary the sister of Lazerus. Her comment MASTER IF YOU HAD BEEN HERE HE WOULDNT HAVE DIED. The centurions word resonate…. Just say the words and he will be healed. We can be close to Jesus but still lack the faith and belief that His word is powerful. And it still is!!!!!!!!!!!

Its interesting to note that the Roman soldier had heard or even possibly seen some of the other miracles Jesus had performed, so it was easier for him to believe a miracle would be performed.

We are going to have to believe with barely any signs that's why the bible says the just shall by FAITH...what is faith believing in the unseen(Hebrews 11:1).... John 20:29 "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have NOT SEEN, AND HAVE BELIEVED." * So bottom line people in the bible had faith based on great wonders, miracles etc In our time we don't see these great things we only hear of them through the bible.. So our faith is different.

So, in talking about the word of God you quote Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) What version of the Bible do you think Pastor Skeete would quote this verse from? Also, ask Walter Veith what version of the Bible he uses. You say we should not "play" with the word of God...the NKJV "plays" with the word of God as do many other modern versions of the Bible. I agree it takes faith, which is hearing and doing God's word. And, this faith is the victory that overcomes the world. However, the pastor said Jesus said I will go to the centurion, and that meant Jesus was in his divinity when he healed the centurion. But, I, is the standard pronoun in English for first person singular, not Jesus using his divinity to heal the centurion servant. Also, the Bible states the word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14, KJV). In addition, the Bible also states Jesus was attempted in every way like we were, yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:14-16) Furthermore, when Judas betrayed Jesus, and Peter cut off the ear of one of the Pharisees. Jesus fixed the ear and told Peter to put his sword back, and said to Peter, think I cannot pray to my father, and He send much angels to help me? (Matthew 26:53-54, KJV) Jesus confirmed the fact he was in the flesh and was made a little lower than angels like we are. (Hebrews 2:7, KJV) Moreover, when gave his Jesus Sermon on the Mount, he encouraged us, taught us the word, taught us to fast, taught us how to pray and have faith, the very things we need to apply the word of God and overcome the world. (Mathew, chapter 5, 6, & 7, KJV) (John 16:33, KJV) Finally, when Jesus rose from the dead and wen back to heaven, his disciples received power to heal the sick and raise the dead, just like he did, and they were not in their divinity, but in the flesh. John 1 -14 does not tell us about no trinity. Jesus was the Word and he was with the Father and he inherited all from his Father including names abd titles so he can be called God but he is not the Father. Don't you inherited your father's name surname.

The NKJV changes grievous to prosperous. That is not simpler, that is 180 degrees from the text. It tells the reader that in wickedness there is prosperity. Not true! At least in God's eye. In Isaiah 9:3 we read "Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before the according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil." The NKJV changes "not increased" to "increased. Again 180 degrees from the text. This is dangerous as it tells the reader that there is a blessing in disobedience. Isn't that exactly what the serpent told Eve in the garden? In ALL other versions James 5:16 tells the reader to confess your "sins" one to another. In the KJV we are told to confess our faults. Many would say, "what's the big deal with that? A fault would be something like a husband leaving his dirty drawers on the floor and expecting his wife to pick them up. A fault yes. A sin NO! Sin is the transgression of the law. THAT, we confess to God. When we accept confessions our sins to one another, we are accepting confessing sins to an earthly priest. Just what Rome wants us to so. Simpler is not what i would describe any version as. Dangerous is a better definition. There is so much contradiction to the Word of God in the NKJ, and simplicity may "look" good but it is not good.

We need not to play with the word of God. I agree, but are we not playing with the Word of God when we use the new bible translations that leave out verses and change the meaning of verses? NKJV, NIV the list goes on, these bibles should not be used. People say these bibles gives them better understanding but who do get understanding from? The Holy Spirit.
