@jamesbetson: We are the remnant of the apostolic church. We are most like the church Jesus started. We keep HIS commandments, all 10 of them given at Mount Sinai. We follow the lamb wherever HE goes. We keep His statues. You say YOU are the remnant? Not so! Jesus and his disciples did NOT rape little children, nuns and other innocents. Jesus did not torture those who didn’t agree with him. We have free will. Jesus. Didn’t burn anyone at the stake either. No, your group is NOTHING LIKE the loving Jesus who gave HIS life to save all who will follow Him. We SDA do not bow down to ANY prelate, kiss his ring or mumble on beads and call that heart felt prayer. I’m not letting you get by trashing us when it is your sect that is evil, sexually immoral and haters of Gods law and rule!

What is the Remnant word mean to you? To remain from something that was there before. To me it is simple, but I know that Satan is confusing many so they can loose eternal life. May God have mercy on all of us.

I agree 100% With Prof Walter Veith on both statements... God made me aware of this Apostasy in 2015., But He. God also showed me in a Vision that lasted exactly 105 minutes, 41 years ago on this very date 17th May 1983, that the RCC was NOT His church, and one year later showed me in a Dream that the SDA was God's Church, and He, God revealed to me much, much more...ALL BIBLICAL.!!!

Thank you for this message. May Our LORD God bless you Pastor Doug Batchelor and brother Lawrence. There is NO another remnant church COMING. If it were SO, GOD COULD HAVE TOLD US IN HIS WORD. Sadly, because of not searching to know the TRUTH, with the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT, and the TRUTH to set them free, many people who have denied the HOLY SPIRIT, by referring Him to the power of God OR the angels of God, and that Jesus Christ has a pre-existance, have left the church, calling it a GC SDA Church, which is teaching TRINITY. They claim they have the TRUTH, and they are with the TRUTH of the Pioneers. They read the books of Ellen G. White, that were printed up to a certain known year to them, any book printed after that year, to them, it is apostate. They have closed out any who would want to guide them to see otherwise. Ending up to understand the Bible and the SOP in their own understanding, concerning Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, as they read where it favours their reasoning! My prayer to every SDA, PLEASE don't leave God's Church. It may look as if it is falling, but God promises He will have His remnants who will stand steadfast and faithful. Let us pray and watching that we be among them. In Jesus' Mighty name. AMEN. The SHAKING I believe is on going.
I do agree what Walter Veith is talking about. SDA is the same message! Remnant Church, Yes , the Church is going through the Shaking now, and those who apostates, will accept and join the teachings of the Babylon/ Roman Church . Brother Lawrence, Your stance is correct, and we are responsible for protecting the pulpit, especially SDA pastors. I can't remember the exact reference, but I have read in the Spirit of Prophecy books, or a church document somewhere, that the church pulpit would be ok to share, like you said, for an afternoon presentation or something like that, but definitely not for the Sabbath morning service. Adventist pastors should know this well. Your point os correct and you have stated it in a loving and just manner. Thank you for your faithfulness.

Perhaps its also important to differentiate between the conference and the Church of God. Like the difference between the Church of God in the time of Jesus and the Sanhedrin coubcil.

The teaching that We are going to heaven is a falsehood. God has a place in the heavens that the redeemed will spend time with God. Lucifer never was in the heaven of God., God's dwelling place. No created being would ever get to God's dwelling place. Lucifer was thrown out of the heavens, the dwelling place of the angels.

I agree.. we are the remnant church.. God is calling in HIS children who are astray. I remember the church growing up was full every Sabbath no seats available.. not the church is half empty.. but then children who were raised in the Gospel even though they are in the world and are coming back.. the church currently IS LUKEWARM but us the remnants will fire it back up.. we will have missionaries every Sabbath giving literature in our neighborhoods and praying for the people like we used to back in the 90's .. having women and man retreats for prayer and connection to God.. having the pathfinder club and the adventures club.. LETS BRING BACK THE FIRE FOR CHRIST!!
Note, he didn't say those who push through to the end will leave the church and do their own thing, he said they'll push through to the end and those whose leave to form their own "remnant" are being shaken out because of their own lukewarm state. Much of those who leave are very vindictive, hypocritical and dishonest. God's church may appear to fall but it will not.
The pastor is very correct. If you don't, you will be saying once saved, always saved, which is not true. If you sieve sorghum, impurities/ chaff are taken away, good grains remain. Are you denying that there's shaking/ weighting? What remains is the other church he is talking about.
All that Paul said came from the Spirit of God! All scriptures came from the heart of God. Out of the abundance of hear the mouth speakers. And God’s word came from out of the abundance of His heart.

It will be the remnant that come out of apostate Adventism . That proclaim the truth that Adventism was founded on in the beginning. If sister White could come forth from the grave she wouldn’t even recognize the nominal church as being Seventh Day Adventist they have aspostized from the truth and let the world in . I’m sad at the state of the church . God has always had a few faithful souls who make up the church . Let’s get it straight if we follow the world we are not his chosen people . We can repent and come back and follow him but don’t bring the world into the church. God will not accept that .
