i often get a lot of these "ambient breakcore" videos with that overused glowy anime aesthetic in my recommended feed, and i always click on them to see just how bad it is. this is one of those times. this track just isn't good firstly, the core idea of the track is bad. the only thing that really happens in this is a piano track with a drum break under it. that exact thing has been done to death before, and not once has it worked to anything good because there's almost never anything else to it. secondly is the structuring. this song desperately needs a b section, at least something interesting happening to break from the monotony. this song is just the same thing over and over and over and over again, and it's so incredibly mind numbing that my ears completely glaze over after a certain point. if the core of a song is just a loop, the very least you could do is change part of it after 8 bars, or do something small but interesting after 4. even though this song is only a minute long, you could've done at least something interesting in that time. even by not paying attention to those, i still have a problem with it because the mixing of the track isn't good either. the drums are at too low of a volume for some reason, and the piano just sounds like a sample with literally nothing on top of it at all. i also just need to ask, why does the track just cut out like that? because honestly it makes it feel like you were just too lazy to come up with anything. at the very least just loop the piano and let it fade out for a measure, but you did absolutely nothing with it. and i wouldn't be as pissed about if you didn't copy the same god awful aesthetic seeming everyone making this genre has been doing. this isn't unique in any way. there's honestly no reason that anyone would stick around to listen to your work since you'll just be immediately replaced if you quit. there are thousands of people making the exact same garbage that you are, the very least you could do is find some way to stand out. this is just awful. i dont get why people are praising this so much.
@@sunrizx I do have some tips to point you generally to the right direction. For the music, I strongly recommend making more general EDM/rave oriented breakcore. This is mainly because that area leads you to build more skills overall than doing stuff like "ambient breakcore" or "true breakcore". Personally speaking, the easiest way to make these is by starting out making it as an EDM track and only afterwards starting to add breakcore elements. I recommend listening to the soundtracks for rhythm games to find the EDM tone I'm talking about, but three songs I specifically want to point out is I'm So Happy by Ryu⭐️ for happy side, Paranoia ~Hades~ by Jun for the darker side, and Mei by Amuro vs Killer for the emotional side. Once you get good at that, you can start adding elements from tracks like this it it's still what you wish to do at that point. For the art, it's incredibly simple, just make everything yourself. it doesn't matter if you don't know how to draw. just make a doodle and use that as the artwork. anything that's original to you, use it. eventually you'll find that you created your own style from it. I'm a hater to the art, not the artist. I want to see you succeed. ALSO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP USING THE SAME EXACT FORMULA FOR EVERY TRACK. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT EACH TIME. THIS MEANS STOPPING WITH THE PIANO.
