I think you should try a thing where either you close your eyes or let Nina choose for you without you knowing and then both you and chat can try to figure it out! That sounds like some wholesome fun!
*match starts* Otz: I already outplayed Claudette when she 20 years ago when she was born, she's going to end up stepping in that trap even though I'm playing Trickster
Hi Kate here from the spirit game (AKA Niek), If I meet you next time I will sweat so hard I'll slide of my chair. This game I tried to get my challenge from unhooking and to derank since my friend just bought the game and I didnt want her to go against super good killers. As you can see I came up against Otz and I didnt want her to go up against people like him because it is no fun for new players and we all know the ranking system is a bit weird when the ranks are so far apart. But Otz, if we meet again I'll give you a hard time and I stand by that. Take care guys, much love
@@lookatmyfeetDBD Hahaha if you watch the video he also said: you think she is going for it? so he is saying I am crazy to do that play. You know I was deranking if you saw the game. Otz even said to me in chat that it was no problem for him that I was deranking. But you werent there so how would you know. Its facts if you dont believe me, you do you man.
If he was running a hex build he would have at least 4 totem auras, but I didn't see any more than 2 when he looked around, plus I guessed haunted at the start
The one thing I like about otzdarva playing as the trickster is that he doesn’t use his knives when a survivor is 1 meter away from him unlike most trickster mains
1: Hex: third seal 2: Thanatophobia 3: hangman's Trick (Or whatever it's called) 4: Nurse's calling (For sure) I doubt Otz used any perks with any Active killer bonuses so he can be discreet.
Wasn’t that a thing at one point because of a bug? It stacked the decreased attack cooldown and the movement speed to make you super dangerous after exit gates were opened.
@@RegBinary there’s a million free options, way back when I used a little yellow dot for huntress... for about 3 games til I realized how literally UNFUN it made it
I actually really like this concept, aside from (probably) being more fun for Otz and being just more engaging for the viewer, it's a good way to help people's game knowledge. I hope he makes more videos like this in the future.
i hope get this right.... Game 1: 1. Furtive chase - (the nea became the obsession after saving claudette, 5:03) 2. Hangman's trick - (he saw nea and claudette's aura while they were healing near the hook, 5:14 , which could've been nurse's calling, but when dwight heals at 6:08, Otz doesn't see his or claudette's aura as they were away from the hook) 3. Hex: Haunted grounds - (the dwight who has cleansing the totem was healthy and as soon as the totem was cleansed, Otz hit him and he went down, 3:32) 4. Sloppy butcher - (the last dwight to die was bleeding heavily while looping Otz, 3:18 while the other one cleansing his totem, 3:32) I am writing this without seeing the endgame and only while the video is playing, I will only see the endgame of both the games after writing Game 2... I'll do game 2 after I'm finished watching Jack's RESI VIII episode six.....
1st game - Hex: Retribution, Sloppy Butcher, Hangmans Trick, Furtive Chase Edit: Damn pretty close 2nd game - Addons: Dread Blossom and the saya that I forgot the name Perks: Dead Man Switch, Unrelanting, Whisperes Blood Echo Edit: Could swear your lunge was bigger and had a shorter cooldown
Monstrous Shrine, Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence, Blood Echo, Distressing, Hex: Huntress Lullaby, Hex: The Third Seal, Lightborn, Mindbreaker, Overcharge, Remember Me, Shadowborn, Thanatophobia, Unnerving Presence and Whispers cannot be guessed for the killer's PoV when you don't see the perks.
The fact that Otz looked at the ground several times to try and reveal Sloppy Butcher and almost no one took notice of the extra blood PROVES that *HEMORRHAGE IS COMPLETELY USELESS!*
I like how chat keeps guessing perks he regularly uses like save the best for last and corrupt intervention and then it's something out of the blue like undying revealing someone at a dull totem for .5 of a second. Not saying that happens in the video but that's how these vids usually go
Before I even watched this I said he definitely had Hangman's just because it's so obscure and its something you literally never see used, its an obvious choice
Otz: I’m going to hide my perks. You guys get to guess them! Me the Newbe: Considering I look up what perks you are running even when we see them, this doesn’t seem much different...
I get the Blood Echo in the moment you said you need to claudete before dwight... He was injured. Distressing took me time, but i saw double bp. Whispers, otz looked to the left right corner (where his perks are) and said hold on and after that find cladet, in late game in become more clear that you had it. But Dead man's switch i had no clue. I was thinking about the add-ones from the start, because they are the most hard to guess. I loved how otz done something and people be like he got that. For example otz get stunned and chat: Enduring! or he miss and chat: Unrelenting! XD
*Spoiler* 09:05 I‘m gonna go with: Furtive Chase, Hangman‘s Trick, Hex: Haunted Grounds and Blood Echo. 3 out of 4. 14:28 Dried Cherry Blossom and Prayer Beads. 19:36 I‘m gonna go with Mad Grit, Whispers, Unrelenting and Monstrous Shrine. 1 out of 4 and both Add-Ons. Yeah, but I should know that as a Spirit main. 😂🤷♂️ What an outstanding idea though. 👏
I wonder if there are (at least) 4 killer perks that are truly impossible to tell if the killer doesn't make the requirements happen. Scratch that yes there are. For example: Monstrous Shrine (if you never hook people in the basement), Pop Goes the Weasel, Overcharge and Trail of Torment (if you never kick generators). But there are quite some more.
the real mindgame is to not have all perk slots filled, or have one perk that does so little that people don't even notice it's there (i.e. a basement hook perk but only putting one person in the basement the entire match)
I kept thinking "OH he has a hemorrhage addon to make us think he has sloppy" but I should've known he wasn't running addons. Had to go back to notice they only hemmoragged when he smacked them
i had the first one after i figured out furitive chase, i saw the second totem disappear and hangmans was obvious because the people healing were ONLY seen when you were picking someone up/
For Trickster - Hangman's Trick, Haunted Ground, Furtive Chase and something else For Spirit - Whispers, Distressing, - the other 2 were something else
I love how everyone at 5:14 was saying Nurse's, but seeing the Aura after, I recognize Hangman's Trick. The obsession change was from Furtive Chase. Still no idea what the hexes were, but if I had to guess probably Crowd Control Undying? Looked later in, and damn, was wrong. Hard to judge sloppy honestly.
I noticed Haunted Grounds and Sloppy Butcher quite quickly. Hangman's Trick was a bit confusin until I noticed that the Aura continued after they stopped healing. Furtive Chase took a bit.
Well, before watching, the perks that are the hardest to spot would be (i think): Enduring (and never get stunned), Territorial imparative (most games), Bamboozle (dont vault) and Spirit fury.
Trickster game: I recognized 3 perks that were haunted because I saw 2 totems and when one was gone the other was as well. Everyone was injured except the nea that you left alone since you didn’t want to reveal it. Furtive chase was activated once or twice when I believe it was the Claudette when she was rescued off hook. Hangmans trick, the two were healing at the hook the Claudette was reduced from, and when you hooked the nea the aura was gone but they were still healing. The last one I don’t know. If you were trying something obscure I can think of one of two perks. Either beast of prey since only the survivors would see it activate, or brutal strength such e you never broke a single pallet and wanted to hide your break speed if you have it. Gonna see the results now Edit after: Damn I was so close. I thought to myself maybe you brought that perk, but if you were trying to make people guess, I wanted to think you would bring more obscure and hard to tell perks, ones no one would ever use, and that was one that I thought of but then discarded quickly because of its use. Spirit game: Add on: I noticed you were moving slower then you should When playing spirit, so I looked at the add one and four. The only one to make you slower when phasing, being the yakuyoke amulet. That leaves 3 possible other add ons, but your reappearance time and speed was average so the saya is not it. Between prayer beads and blossom, both are obscure on killer side, but seeing as how people would think of prayer beads more, I would hypothesize you brought dried cherry blossom. Perks: 2 I know for a fact are whispers which you can hear, mad grit from all the times you hit people while carrying someone. I wanna take a small guess at lightborne, which you a void flashlights for to reveal you can be blinded, because in my experience with killer survivors have pulled off some of the most bulls*** angles I have every seen in my life and I’m quite sure you should at least gotten prompt for blinding which you didn’t. The last one I don’t know, maybe beast of prey? Bout to find out. Edit: that was actually very good for you. I lost big time.
My guess for spirit before seeing them: Addons: Blossom and Beads, though they can be seen. Perks: Whispers Iron Grasp (he seemed to be deliberately moving side to side, but actual wiggling seemed weak) Unrelenting Dead Man's Switch Edit: Damn I was way off
For the trickster game, before I finish watching the game, I’m going to guess Coulraphobia, overwhelming presence, distressing, and the unnerving presence. These terror radius perks would make the most sense as their effects would be the hardest to see value from.
Guess One: You used no perks and told people you were using perks. Guess Two: Monsterous Shrine, Beast Of Prey, Knockout, No Mither. (Yeah we got that No Mither Trickster gameplay.)
I'm guessing before the match, (perks you wouldn't notice from the killer POV) Sloppy butcher Lightborn That wraith one for increased POV Hex: Thrill of the Hunt Edit: Just watched the first game heres my updated guess Hangmans trick furtive chase haunted grounds lightborn
On the second one, I only got one right, and the only way I was able to deduce Blood Echo was because of how Otz kept saying "Dwight Dwight Dwight", referring to the injured player while he was hurriedly hooking someone else.
I thought it was Whispers (from the ambience), Stridor (The injured cries sounded loud to me), Mad Grit (You were really ballsy about hitting people before hooking, could have also been iron grip), and predator (I thought the scratch marks seemed like predator scratch marks)
from first game i'd say sloppy, nurses and iron maiden so far the hex perk could have been anything cause it got cleansed pretty quick. on the second match whispers is pretty easy to guess even if u can't see it cause you hear the entity whispering :D
Would have guessed obvious candidates are the ones that are hard to trace from your prespective because they affect nothing but survivor stats, so : Hex thrid seal, coulrophobia, thanatophobia, overwhelming presence.
Ok, took me some time to figure it out but I think I got the perks of the first game. Hex: Third Seal - A hex perk that literally gives you no information when active. I don't think it was Thrill since the Dwight cleansed it relatively quickly at 3:35 Hangman's Trick - You can see auras near the hook at 5:57 Furtive Chase - Obsession switching when rescued at 6:44 Coulrophobia or Unnerving - Based on the hint at 8:04. I would say... Unnerving, just because. Edit: I completely missed the 2nd Hex of Haunted Grounds at the start of the match xD And yeah, it was Sloppy, not Unnerving. It was fun though!
Hangmans from the aura's by hooks, Furtive chase from changing obsessions, sloppy from the increased bleeding frequency (could be blood echo tho), Haunted grounds because the other totem aura disappeared after one broke. if I were to do a build like this it would be Third seal/lullaby, stridor, caulrophobia, and distressing
gonna be real, i guessed 2 out of 4 XD but i was so convinced it was nurses! Maybe its because i run it a lot on huntress. Love videos like this though :) For some reason i thought you had brutal, but thats probably cause i rarely play trickster and thought he broke the pallet really fast. hangmans just completely bamboozled me haha. I did guess haunted pretty quick, cause i only noticed one totem gone, and then both were off the map. so i was about 95% sure :D Edit: for the spirits match, i only got whispers, i dont play spirit at all so add-ons are beyond me, but i noticed the whispers quickly :D small victory?
Second guess, 'cause why not! Enduring - I think that pallet stun at 12:38 was a bit shorter than usual Predator - A bit difficult to notice but the double back of Dwight at 12:55 makes it a bit clearer. Unrelenting! - I do notice a difference in attack cooldown at 14:17 Whispers - I was dubious about it at first, but it becomes real clear at 15:50. Unfortunately I am not familiar with Spirit's addons, so I'm not sure what they would be. Hopefully I got the perks right this time. Edit: Yeah, I am pretty bad at this xD
predator is pretty easy to notice, the scratch marks will usually not spawn on walls unless the survivors run right up against them and they're only just wider than the survivor. It's just, nobody has a reference for it, cause nobody runs predator ahaha i only got whispers too! I thought he had mad grit, and didn't see the clues for the other perks
