I tried concealing a remote for a traditional camera drone inside my jacket. The bottom band of my jacket rested on the joystick and made it pitch forward at full speed on takeoff. It was night time so no obstacle avoidance. Thankfully it was a hand launch and I just caught it out of the air and flipped it for a gyro shutdown and no damage. Probably much safer when you have a hard disarm button, but I'll never do it again with a reg drone.

I have my radio in my backpack while on my lap. And with hood up, the goggles are invisible. I just make sure to look like a homeless person and get ignored, even when I have multiple cameras around me.

Just use a small screen that lays on your lap like a tablet instead ot the whole glasses thing, will look more natural. Get a boxer radio so you can tell that you are just gaming and it is an AR game so you play it in the real map of the place you are in

Adding cradle hangers will make this so that it can be placed somewhere high up for remote recording. It could hook onto a tree a pole a building and just sit there if you're able to adjust the lens on it

You should try Xreal's glasses, they look somewhat normal but have full 1080p displays and with a cheap adapter can accept an hdmi input.
