NO ONE Likes Solo Leveling. That's Wild. 

I've read the manhwa multiple times (including the epilogue) as well as the entire novel collection including the bonus stories. And so far I have yet to be disappointed with a single episode. I appreciate the subtle changes they're making while being faithful to the source material and expanding on the characters. It's a much deeper story than people give it credit for. People just rant because they enjoy the art so much and don't pay attention to the finer details of the story and blindly hate on it. When you think about it none of the reasons people give for the show being "bad" make any sense whatsoever.

The reason the manwha reader didn’t hype like the way when they reading the manwha because they already know the story already. (In my opinion)

the starting is a slow burn but i am liking it this way plus right now, solo leveling is one of the most loved and popular anime of this season from data from sites like imdb,crunchyroll etc. Ur point is valid tho, the first 2 eps should be an hour long single ep

I think its simplicity is what makes Solo Leveling considered to be the GOAT of Manhwa, i dont think you are need to be unique to be a good and enjoyable show, sometimes shows are trying to hard to be unique to the point where it becomes so weird. And Solo Leveling is just that simple,( even though the lore is quite fascinating ) and straightforward. Its power fantasy done excellently.

As manhwa reader i admit nothing really special with Solo Leveling. The story simple, character development not too much. Coz pretty much this manhwa just focusing on the MC. The thing is keep me hook up is the coolest and badass MC. With really good arts style. And the pace of story after MC get re-awakening/new power is good. There is short calm moment between each action part. So make me enjoying this manhwa and make me keep scrolling/reading it.

I’ve read solo leveling, it’s just was a fun read but nothing special. I personally not a big fan of mc huge fan service(insane power creep, side characters are only used/get in situations to show off how cool/powerful the mc is)

Because Solo Leveling is popular, it is loved by many, but also hated by many. To be honest, I hate when this show is hated. I mean, this show isn't perfect, I get it. Plot armor in some moments, when the MC is beaten very hard, but the music starts playing, he starts screaming and wins. Anime only scenes with other hunters that have nothing to do with the current situation may seem pointless, although as a manhwa reader I really like them as they are going to be a good foundation for the future story and can also fix one of the biggest complaints about the manhwa - undeveloped secondary characters (if A-1 not gonna messed up, of course). But, man, there are complaints about so much nonsense. They just can't admit that they just don't like the genre and they say the show is trash because they said so, passing it off as fact. And sometimes I want to say "shut up and don't watch if you don't like it." For this very reason, I refuse to say and think that "gushing over magical girls" is rubbish, because it has fans (and among my acquaintances that I talk to, too), but I'm also not going to watch it because of crazy ecchi . It's just not my genre. Although it is worth noting that the idea of taking a conventional Sailor Moon and changing the roles (make MC a villain, and her opponents - heroine girls who fight evil) is very cool and unusual. Also a lot of funny moments can make this show special for the viewers, but like I said, I won't watch it because of the ecchi I saw there from the clips. Personally I love Solo leveling more. It's just me! I wish there were more people who wouldn't take their opinion as the truth. Or maybe I'm wrong, because it turns out that there is no such thing as a bad or good show in my opinion, which can be quite a controversial proposition.

Y’all are hating on an anime for adding needed content that fleshes out the story in interesting ways where the side characters are relevant. What has the anime community come to these days. I personally fucking love the anime and have read the Manwha multiple times. How could you hate the anime for fleshing out the story more? It makes no sense to me.

As a reader i can confirm that I didn't liked the adaptation cause of the subtle add ons and changes from the manwha. The simplicity and fast paced story from the manwha was what got me hooked and changing characters prior from when it was supposed to, adding useless plot was what killed it.

The problem with solo leveling is that we've all seen this same kind of story already, specially in isekai shows where "Mc gets a cheat skill and goes from weakest to strongest". You can make the argument of Mushoku tensei should have the same problem but mushoku tensei has a really cool world with amazing characters OTHER than Rudeus. And as far as i know, in solo leveling nobody other than the MC is actually important

I already quit this anime. Because of the fans of this anime are all total crap. They all overrated this anime. They just mocking on the comments section when somebody gives their opinions. They even comparing One punch man, DBZ type anime with this manhwa. How funny right😂? I already read the whole manhwa and i don't know how someone can like this types of manhwa. Totally no plot and no better story written fo any side characters. The most disappointing part is about the S rank hunters who trained for years and still fights like the npc monsters. And about the rulers they are total trash. This anime is just full focused for the mc. But at least they should wrote a better storylines for the side characters. So much waste

Yea, I DON'T like the anime. I disliked it so much that I went and read the entire manga in 2 days instead. The anime is completely misrepresenting the MC's personality and even changing the storyline when it's already done for the studio. The manga was great. The anime is quite bad in comparison.

As a manwha reader, i absolutely hated the first episode, it was all over the place and tried to introduce everything all at once, that being said after that it got better, the most recent episode was kinda boring but that aside i think theyre doing a good enough job at adapting it
