the guys getting the FAITH easter egg & simultaneously recognizing that it was a voice clip from FAITH while failing to actually realize that it's just a voice clip from FAITH as an easter egg because they had absolutely no reason to be carrying the cross around like that is just... it stings a little bit
@@jamesrussell2936 I think he's saying when they hear the weird atari voice that sounds like FAITH, its actually an easter egg when you walk around with a cross like that (like you would in Faith).
I met Tomar at a 7/11 a few days ago. I reached out to shake his hand, but he just stared at me, dumbfoundedly, before spitting a large red glob onto my hand. I asked if he was okay and he spat another glob, this time on to the floor. Later, when I was checking out, I witnessed him try to walk out with their hot dog roller. One of the nicest fella's I've ever met.
This game apparently got a big overhaul, with the maze removed and the underground bit heavily changed, plus more endings and story. You guys should consider another go at it.
Future man here. It's a completely different game now. Same bones but different beast. New story, new themes, new ways of getting multiple endings. The changes are so stark that it's almost a different genre from the original game by the end. A non spoilery comparison would be if you returned to The Shining and it was the same basic story except it's revealed in the last twenty minutes that instead of ghosts there was an evil science lab below the hotel the whole time. You'd be so weirded out by such a fundamental change that your brains would dribble out of your ears.
@@thelongestdongrod190Tomar took offence to the cross being present in the game saying that "it disrespects my religion, say I the Tomar of Tomars" and took the game down for good, hunting down anyone still in possession of it
i was watching this in my bed at 4am and nearly pissed myself seein that thing. it makes me glad to see creators real reaction other than scream scream scream markiplier
It hits me something fierce that the realization it's an Easter egg for holding the cross never happens on camera. He just pisses and moans like the Critic talking about ancient Greece.
That genuine "DON DO DAT" of fear Tomar said to Chris when he jumpscared him was adorably pitiful. I would instantly say sorry and sing to him sweetly to calm his Jewish nerves.
Oney playing this game inspired me to go and become a lighthouse keeper a few years back. Im glad I did, it’s such a gratifying job and I have had many nice years enjoying my passion. To this day I have captured at least 15 people in my meat cavern. Thank you oney and friends for introducing me to my current and forever dream job. You’re free to visit at anytime, only one at a time though.
1:04:02 That _Halo_ soundtrack was very simliar, but I think that the moth's chase music is actually from the canal chase in _Terminator 2: Judgement Day._ It's the scene where the T-1000 crash-lands the truck into the canal.
I hope oney returns to Visage. They have released the full game. It's awesome. I also think capcom might have been "inspired" too much by it in the same way of propeller head.
@@sweetgeorge3200 I think they changed the voice actors and tampered with the sound so it doesn't sound so loud. but with the other chapters they aren't so on the face with the story. also it's not the ending it's like one quarter of the game. it's the less scary part in my opinion.
@@Joescotterpuss That's what Tomar wakes up to every single day of his life. Also my real name is Scott and I have the right to tell you that I have your name.
I assume we're getting Boneyplays on Monday and they're currently recording with ye ol'Zachary becauseeeeee this week has been all compilations and full series.
This totally made my evening! Alone in my home, a chilly night, a spooky sunset through the trees (plus a few adult beverages). I was on edge and right there with the boys the whole way through.
@@reeetawd 1st person and 3rd person perspectives are commonly used in videos games. 2nd person is controlling a character while having the view of another character. It’s really creative, like you said. It’s not done normally. I watched a video on RU-vid about it and weirdly enough, not many games do it.
There's a PS1 game called Thrasher Skate and Die I remember from my childhood. Skating game; at some point I think if you hit your score cap you start getting chased by a cop. You're in the cop's perspective while playing the skater he's chasing down, tryna escape.
God im so glad they played the "incomplete" version, the "full" version of this game is like 10 hours of meaningless nonsense, the early version is a perfectly contained little hour long horror game that makes you think and wonder without having to like hold the mystery up to the light of day. Its more of an experience than a story, whereas the full version is trying to tell a convoluded story that gets lost in the endless grind of stupid puzzles and nonsensical alternate reality shit. Im very glad they played the proper version of this game and not the "complete" one
Lyle was completely correct about the bouncing, he also correctly used the laws that cause it to be that way. (The reason things don't bounce indefinitely is due to things not being perfectly elastic, so energy is lost in deforming the object and thermal loss and drag.) Professor Wrath deserves all 3 PhD's from the Tomartopia Institute of Technology.
Y'know I don't even mind at this point if they reupload a complete for every series because it makes for easy continuous listening while I'm at work. Since I've already seen almost every video I can just imagine what's happening with just the audio alone.
You could probably find a small island off the coast of a third world country for the price of a decent house in the suburbs of a smaller American city. Can you mortgage an island?
This was no coincidence, Tomar was using the pink joshua ruby to spy into your home and find out what you watch. By which I mean he was using a software he funded to look through your purchase history for fun.
In all honesty, OneyPlays is one of my favorite ways to relax. It's just such a great place to go, feels comfortable and carefree. Many thanks to Oney and his crew.
The reason there has been alot of These uploads, are due to the fact that Oney was killed and is now being rebuilt and brought back to life by the Tomar Emeralds.
I hope they play some Puppet Combo games for BoneyPlays!!! The visuals are very similar to this game. Maybe something like Babysitter Bloodbath, Nun Massacre or even Feed Me Billy would be a good start. A lot of their games are connected so it would be cool to see how these guys would react to the ps1/Dreamcast graphics and jump scares, even if they don’t finish the games
The most frustrating thing of this whole channel is them not understanding that the voice was just an Easter egg from faith. They perfectly dance around that conclusion 😂😂😂 what a show
Go watch them play Witch Hunt or Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion's Doll House segment. You will never see a group of grown, functioning adults fail so hard to read simple instructions & figure out extremely simple gameplay mechanics. For example, in Witch Hunt, they constantly stress about how to save, yet the game clearly says "Game saves upon warping to town" dozens of times, every time they transition, actually, & to the end of the game they still never noticed & literally lost hours of progress while standing next to the warp sign, screaming "WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH MANA TO SAVE", when simply touching the sign & warping to town would, in fact, save the game. & the Spooky's Doll House playthrough is a true test of human patience. I rewatched it last night & they miss so much & fail so many times at extremely obvious points that I couldn't stop myself from actually screaming at the t.v.
1:03:49 T2 noise? Edit: yeah pretty sure chase music is identical to the "your foster parents are dead" scene in T2 where the T-1000 stabbed Todd through the milk carton. Think that was used a few times in the movie
I hope they play it with the added things, I know a man can dream but it would help them understand more of the plot (Also maybe this time they can get the gun)
Oh! I wonder if Over the Garden Wall referenced to that edgar allen poe poem, because there’s an episode where a gorilla keeps scary people and it turns out to be a guy in a suit.
"...And then sneaky snake goes dancing Wiggling and a-hissing Sneaky snake goes dancing A-giggling and a-kissing I don't like old sneaky snake He laughs too much you see When he goes wiggling through the grass It tickles his underneath"
This actually looks kinda interesting, gives me a Kings Field vibe graphicly and thats a good thing. The dithering looks like its turned up to 11. Glad we re getting more stuff that emulates that style. Not that Im hating on pixel art but its kinda overdone(at least of the 8/16 bit variety).
@@Foobin_Lera I said "we're". I thought it was standard operating procedure to not use apostrophes in comments as, you now, its the comment section, not 4th grade English. "We Resident Evil"? Doing a lot of ASSuming, aren''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t we? That's your fuck up, homeslice.
Getting pretty peeved no boneyplays2021, like cmon my darling. Just a crumb of boneyplays, I'll sell my bitcoin assets and my rare kellogs cereal bowls
