@@jsk1429 Do you mind if I ask why you hate floo? Like, ever since statue was banned I haven't felt _anything_ towards floo, and yet everywhere I turn there's people hating on them and I just don't get it. Like, what fuel is feeding that flame?

I agree the intro is nostalgic, yet sick at the same time.

yeah it's clutch in Grind games but one of the worst to have in hand early game lol. It's like a SUPER LATE LATE GAME card for OTK. so yeah I rather still have x2 Ryza vs a Snowl.

Wasn't the problem with snowl before, that you either lost before you got to that point or completely shut your opponent out with the barrier statue? Idk xD I like that card too, it's like a Ultimate conductor tyranno for floo. Dino is my fav deck xd

@@rastafari2k3 Gosh I hope snowl is like conductor tyranno. The main problem with snow is despite being made with boardbreaker effect(flip everything face-down). You can't use it on your own turn.

I'm glad someone finally had the right opinion about snowl and its redundancy

The worst thing about snowl is after flipping special summon monster facedown, if you opponent flip it back up it's no longer considered a special summoned monster anymore, so now they can activate their monsters in attack position. Initially, I always thought snowl effect was meant to work well with empen as it forces opponent to flip it up in attack position, but sadly it wasn't the case.

@@winsenken 😂 that’s not true. Special summoned monsters are still special summoned when they flip back face up. And also why Snowl and empen go well together.

Snowl is my favourite card of the deck and probably one or my favourite cards of all time. I don’t play Floowandereeze in Master Duel anymore but I still often run a more aggressive variant of the deck in the TCG, where at least I didn’t have to worry about nonsensical hits. Snowl makes a ton of difference for me, especially going second, thanks to the offensive pressure it suddenly gives to the deck and its flip-down effect during the opponent’s turn can be really useful if I can’t otk turn 2/3 because of a bad hand or a misplay on my part

Bruh this duel was horrible, both players are constantly miss playing when they have the out this was bad all around.😅

@@oderflafrredy2790 Constantly? The only Floo missplay was the E-Con, the double chainblock at 3:40 was the only choice because if red negated the banished robina to add it back there would have been no normal summon anyway.

@@Raging what about summoning raiza instead of both raiza and empen or keeping the fountain runick when it was use and he was holding flashing fire which does nothing to floowandereeze 😂

By the time Raiza is summoned Empen is in the grave because of Lava Golem, and when Empen is summoned with Raiza in hand I'm pretty sure they had no time left and Empen's floodgate effect is arguably more important, they just got unlucky with the Lava Golem top deck.

Oh Floo's kinda annoying with the Barrier legal though now it's gone it's less annoying.

@@FrankToasty it was but, there were options around it. You didn’t have to draw the out for it or have some expensive card to get rid of it. A lot of people run DRNM or Droplet but any monster 1100 would beat over it. That’s not hard to do as opposed to having to bait and draw other negates/board breaking cards.

Same. I love the birds, and they're completely fair after the Barrier Statue ban.

People unite when there's a more serious threat to face, but then it's runick, so nothing is degenerate against it

I always liked the birds, I just didn't like the barrier version, I think the map hit was totally unnecessary, not a floo player btw.

Eh, Empen is technically a floodgate too, but it isn't so bad, you can play around it more easily.

If only he use final attack order instead it would work seen it is a continues effect.

Because it is a redundant card most of the time and can make you brick, just like any other deck focused on the main deck, you don't wanna run many high level monsters, specially floowandereeze, a deck that doesn't let you special summon your big monsters easily. Plus, it requires a good amount of investment to summon, if you can normal summon it without any interruption, you're very likely winning already and summoning it is just flexing at that point, very rarely you'll face a situation like this where it's basically your only out so people prefer consistency instead of having a toolkit of card for every possible scenario that may or may not happen and can, very realistically, hinder the strengths of your deck.

@@chrisb.2028 Yes this true high level monster will likely make you brick not gonna argue with that. I think it's just my preferences to include it in deck (I am not competitive player just hover over platinum 1-2). Nevertheless I am happy seeing snowl in tourney.

Nah, while snowl is good, is not necessarily a win condition by itself, the summoning requirement aren't cheap even for floo, so they decided it was simply not worth the brickinnes potential when empen get the job done most of the time, people like consistently instead of a toolbox with a little less potential to succeed in most scenarios

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons people have been saying Moon is better. It doesn't matter if Eclispe draws cards if you can board wipe or end the game afterwards, but unless you desperately need Ash bait to distract from your other plays(to be fair, Flooandereeze does fit into that category), hitting a key problem card with Moon is usually enough.
