@@GentleGiant... no sadly. She went to animal control. She was adopted out of animal control though so there’s a plus to it. I just hate she had to go there. Our rescue was full and we had no availability at all unfortunately.

Awe, how precious. Who cares about looks! It’s clear this dog desperately needed out of the shelter and just wanted some love and attention, very sweet dog. I’m in love with this precious baby!!! I think the reason a lot of people pass by these amazing pups, is because they see the expense ahead. Vets must lower their costs!!! This is so true about the reason so many dogs are overlooked because of the cost to restore them so sad. I wish they would have special accounts for medical bills and care for the pound puppies with ailments so people could adopt them and not worry so much about the bills.

Not everyone has the means of caring for a puppy with a condition. I have one, and he is a very worth it, but very expensive boy. It may not be their "true colors", but just their true bank accounts. I agree that it is best when people realize they won't be able to provide what an animal needs and leave it to someone who can. Even though it is sad when you really want to rescue them. :(
