No One Would Mow This Overgrown Yard For Her! I did it with a battery mower. Free Mow Fridays

I am completely gobsmacked at how much grass clippings you got up from that front lawn. The electric mower did a good job on that back yard. Bravo for a mighty fine job.

My family almost moved to Australia back in the 1960's from the U.S. My Dad was a firefighter and even had a sponsor. The pay would have been more, but at the 11th hour they realized that the cost of living was much higher than in the U.S. and Dad would actually end up making less money. It was exciting while it lasted. I was around 10 yrs old and over the moon about the idea. Looking at how beautiful your country is, I wish it would have happened. Would have been a great experience. With all the brochures and maps, etc. we had collected, I was able to make a wonderful presentation a couple years later for Social Studies class where we got to pick a country of our choosing to write about. I hope to be able to visit one day, at least. The people seem so nice and genuine. Keep doing what you do Tim! Need more like you! We have quite a few here in the States doing this, with that number growing consistently. Like I said, Al Bladez told about you on one of his videos and I hope it helps. He is just as particular as you are. Some do better than others, but the idea is the same. They all help those in need for whatever reason. There are guys in almost every state doing this. It's even started neighbors helping each other out again, as it should be.

I don’t know about the homeowner & neighbors but the birds certainly love Free Mow Friday. You barely get one swipe done & they are there!! 😂😂😂 That mower seems to do very well. Makes me think about getting one. Arthritis doesn’t like me to lift & hold gas cans anymore.

Wow, that cleanup was really past due. The homeowner had to be thrilled with the results. The new mower looked like it can handle tall grass with ease. Tim, you do such good job always . Admire you going the extra mile to bag the clippings. Looks so tidy and the house just knocked off 10 years.

great cleanup job, glad to see you even went over the boundary line onto the neighbour's overgrown lawn. flip the 2 pallets over, turn the one to fit next to the driveway, put the bins on top of them.

Can do no more than add to the comments of, job well done. The good part about it was that there wasnt rubbish laying everywhere around the yard, which surely must make mowing easier and quicker. A pleasure to see the transformation.

Another fantastic job, that electric mower was really impressive. I think the mower company could use some of that footage in their adds. I think i sense a business opportunity.... Glad that your OK after that unfortunate fall, its a hazzard to the job, you never know whats underfoot. The Greenworks mower did an amazing job! I see power technology is advancing quite a ways. I've seen Greenworks products in the local Ace Hardware, they have mowers and blowers, string trimmers and hedge trimmers. Good job!

That's really nice that you pick up the grass cuttings. The videos in America that I've watched no one does that. They leave a big mess everywhere. I know they're doing it for free but it sure makes a difference. So it doesn't go unnoticed the nice job you do.

You help me sleep at night. Id love a 5 hour long video of just lawn mowing. The droning sound of the tools and the no talking and the satisfying cutting really calms my nerves and relaxes me/ helps calm my brain down

Sylvia Sanchez's comment brings up a good point about the quietness of the Greenworks electric mower. Neighbors really HATE noise; Homeowner Associations constantly NAG noisy homeowners, so a QUIET mower really helps calm the neighborhood down. Remember the reference in the Jim Carey movie, The Truman Show, where his wife makes him buy an electric mower? She represents the attitude of EVERYONE'S neighbors: Neighbors Shall Be Seen, Not Heard. 🙂🙂🙂

You did a beaut job, even that strip that was technically on the neighbours' side. Hope you didn't hurt yourself when you tripped over that pallet! Wonder why they've got them there?! It really looked so much nicer and I have to say, you're a good guy for doing that. I was quietly seething when I saw those guys who would have been more than capable of pushing a mower around for a while.

That was a massive clean up, looks fantastic job well done again.

My late dad worked all day and came back from working in the building trade and being a plumber to have 6 children and no car to keep a vegetable garden in the back garden and front garden in seasonal flowers planted in a sequence around a manicured lawn and hedge cutting with hand shears in the early 60s and 70s . Rotational of vegetables and fruits and growing crops in greenhouse produce the cold frames and maintaining his elderly parents garden in every Sunday getting up early to walk three miles to work in his parents garden and my mom cleaned their house when we were young and had dinner and tea with the grandparents. No automatic washing machine and modern garden equipment in push mowing the lawn and then edging the lawn with a little rounding spade and planting flowers for spring planting the summer planting and autumn planting for seasonal garden. The people today have mainly grass and they have no time to do anything.

You not only mow over a yard several times if needed but you also use a push mower to pick up all the clippings.....plus perfect weedeating and edging! You are just a wonderful and caring man. Very impressive job with a battery powered ride on!. You've put all the contractors that refused the job to shame.. It's a shame though, thart you didn't have one of your battery trimmers as well to make the whole job done on battery. That really is an impressive mower. Not sluggish, cuts close (as the laundry pole), doesn't even sound like it was complaining about the extra-tall back area. That house has clean lines, when you did the driveway, and added the extra touch of blowing off the metal fence panels, it looked really good. Liked the logic of cleaning under the pallets as well, made sure it was all neat. The back patio is ready for use, and just in time for summer. It was almost startling when at 24:53 I remembered the contrast of the overgrown back lawn to the neat and edged one you were now smoothing. The mailbox path refind added to the area out front. Nice work done.
