I agree with a lot of what you're saying and I like dresses and skirts, but there are more bootcut and loose fitting jeans now than ever. Tighter jeans are NOT "in" .

Thank you so much for this. I farm and garden so still wear trousers when I'm working doing these things and of course I can't wear a skirt when I ride my horses but I do enjoy looking like a woman when I'm out and about. I learned to sew when I first learned the truth. I really enjoy making my clothes and my grandchildren love it when I make for them. It is so lovely to be able to express my love for them has I'm thinking of them while crafting.

If your husband thinks you can still wear pants you listen to TMH, acts 5 Sapphira followed her husband and look what happened. Very beautiful woman! Labels soooo often get skipped when talking about modesty. This came to me recently - having the bag can become an idol to us!! Heart posture really matters . . . Modest apparel can still be beautiful and regal, but the praise and focus is for our Lord!! Not for fashion or attention or any of the worldly distractions

But I will say Beloved, “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” Isaiah 54:5 If your husband tells you to go against the word of God whom the word is Jesus Christ of Nazareth who is our 1st Husband and King, our God, respect his opinion but FOLLOW the leading of the Holy Spirit bc your husband can lead you to the pit bc you put him before God's standards. It's a balance, we have to respect our husbands and submit but not to the point of losing our salvation.

I commend you Sister. I am learning the ways of The Most High, and all the ways in which a woman needs to be. Unlearning and unconditioning myself from the former things I have learned is a bit tough, but I will not give up. I found your page and I am grateful. Hello! Thank you for your knowledge. Completely new to this journey. I was raised as a Muslim and I need to know if we need to cover our ankles?

I am just beginning this journey. I am 67 and work as a professional organizer. I have ordered long oversized dresses but still feel that I need to have leggings on to be modest and do my work (on a ladder often). please tell me the negative of wearing leggings. I felt it was a good solution (I have ordered cotton leggings because of the heat) but, are they still considered pants and I should go to tights altogether? Thank you for your thoughts TT

I always wonder before pants ...there were skirts for both men and women...in the bible aron & David among other men wore skirts such as king saul who David cut a piece of his skirt in his sleep. Both men and women should go back to that ..there was obviously men skirt and women dress etc ...

I’m confused.. in Kemet(Africa) men and women wore the same clothes. Pants is European so how could the scripture say a man and women can’t wear the same thing if we saw each other as a reflection of each other and we wore the same thing before the invaders?

1 Peter 3:3 Would you say it has anything to do with the wearing of jewelry? That it possibly bringing unnecessary attention to yourself? I have struggled with this for a while. I have been taught that we shouldn’t put on jewelry. The book of revelation has been used as well to bring that point out. The women on the beast as it described what she had on jewelry etc. And then the other woman (the church) who was modest in appearance she didn’t seem to have any Jewelry on. What are your thoughts on this? Or when God told Jacob for him and his family to put away their strange Gods before coming before them and they had to bury it.(Gen 35:2-4) Or even Ex 33:5? When the Lord told Moses to tell the children of Israel to take of their ornaments and then he will decide what to do with them. It has been a true battle for me. It has been a conviction but so many people have so many takes on it.

I am having difficulties in letting go of my pants also, but not just that, I live in the Caribbean and I don’t know how to dress modestly in this hot place. I don’t like sleeveless, I’m more of a T-shirt and jeans kinda girl. I just don’t know how to do this modest thing and still not feel and look like a grandma because I’m young young. I do want to please Yah however, any advice?

I always enjoy doing my hair . Is that something I wouldnt be able to do ? Should i be covering my hair ?

What if our spouses are non believers? What if they want us to dress like the world, do we still obey them?

I do research in labs and generally it's hard to move around and be efficient in dresses. What about long blouses and leggings?

I have to wear cargo pants for my job. Only Muslim women can wear skirts due to religion. How can I prove my religion is respected and that I should wear maxi dresses

Pants were originally invented for women.. men still wore tunics or what would look like a dress. But I do agree with modest dressing.
