Donna has such a regal elegance in the way she talks and moves! I think she's secretly a goddess of quilting and her workshop is at the top of a mountain untouched by mortals.

I look forward to the video with all the scrappy bits. I have an on-again/off-again relationship with a paper-pieced mariner's compass and balked at the sheer waste of fabric... so I foundation pieced the slivers and stuff to 6" squares of whatever jersey fleece I could get my hands on. If I ever finish the quilt top, I know I'll have a complementary quilt back ready for it.

I`m bedbound, but I can feel the joy of sewing when I`m looking at your amazing tutorials! :-) Thank you for sharing!

I have been quilting for years and I am close to 80 now and quilting for my kids, grandkids and great grandkids is my true treasure in life.. for all the quilts I have made for my family and for charity I have never kept one for my own.. every time I start one for myself before I'm done I always change my mind and I know I'll be giving it away too.. so in case no one ever told you this before.. what you do at the end of each of your videos is a beautiful thing and it never goes unnoticed .. thank you for all you do

I had to laugh after you trimmed that sashing block and my OCD is shouting "NO WAY!" I couldn't stand making a quilt with that much wasted batik fabric (or any other fabric for that matter.) Then as if you're reading my mind (or hearing my mental screams), you promise an upcoming video that will use up all those scraps. YAY! I think I hate dealing with angled scraps more than any other bits and pieces. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with to use them. The wall hanging definitely POPS! Nice work!!

I lost my mother, and I'm adopted, but I used to spend hours and hours watching my birth mother sew. I'm totally blown away every time I watch your videos. It's incredible what you create again and again. I have also tried a few times to sew this, but unfortunately have failed so far every time. But it does not stop me from watching your videos with great pleasure. I have to admit, though, that sometimes I'm a little envious when you go to your fabric warehouse to choose the fabrics. I always think then, you must feel like you are in paradise. Please keep doing this for a long time and inspire us with your great videos. For the past few years mirror mirrow has been my favorite until i just watched Stars Within! I now put this one as my #1 favorite. When you picked the colors i thought i would use some different choices until i saw the amazing quilt finished. Great job and you made it look so easy. Just ordered patter from you. Good morning Donna, Matt and all at Jordan's, Ooo i was so missing your video this week,, it seems like forever since you last put one up, but that is probably my imagination going wild again. Love this pattern Donna, and the cranberry corner stones is what i would also have chosen for the outer triangles, but hey, that's what makes us all unique in this world. I loved the soft blue that you opted for the quilting design, it just shows up that little bit and not knock you on the floor by gazing back at you. 24:38 I like to sew with the seams on the top and the single piece on the bottom, so that I can make sure all the seams don't get flipped by the feed dogs. Especially, when using a light background. 💖🌞🌵😷

This really is beautiful. The waste is a problem for me because I don’t want to do a scrappy extra quilt with them. This isn’t the first Cozy Quilt Designs pattern that has so much scrap. Nice job on the quilt Donna and the colors are perfect.
