Hey there, thanks for tuning in again :)
This is our acoustic (ish) cover of No Rain by Blind Melon... It's a fantastic song that we've loved for years and years. So much so that we kind of avoided covering it since we knew we couldn't get anywhere near the original's genius.
Balls to that, though, said our egos, and we set about trying to arrange it for just the two of us. We shot this just outside the room you saw last week, and got lucky halfway through when the resident dog Freida showed up on her morning run 🤣
Ironically, we had to rush this shoot a little, as it looked like at any moment the heavens could open and drench us. Fortunately it held off, and we were able to get this in the usual fifteen or so takes. Maybe if we rehearsed more, we could get that down to twelve.
