Try teams racing on ovals. Sort your team into 'flyers' and 'blockers' and go forth and entertain us all!

FR is the worst player for this kind of game, he's physically incapable of driving dirty. He's like a polite schoolboy afraid of a social faux pas

I agree with how the more destructive circuits were very entertaining, and I think it would be a good idea to end every wreckfest video with a no rules race so everyone can let out their anger.

To be honest, if you choose the smaller tracks, this is super fun to watch. I would love to see another murder race like the last one.

I'm pretty sure the words "murder" and "murdered" have been used more in this video than any other Fail Race video

This is still some of the cleanest racing ive seen in wreckfest!

RU-vid drama: Grooming, assualt, harrassment, callout culture, name calling, cancelling. Failrace drama: Dangerman maddddddd, dangerman gonna wreck casino. I love this channel.

From what i have seen on wreckfest without any rules really, it works with a full lobby. Because you have so much traffic that you will find something at some point. Also if people drive more reckless, then you have the beautiful carnage for the most part of the race. And hellride always works when it comes to complete and utter carnage.

Ah yes, "drive around a no man's land for the rest of the race." Always seems to happen to me in the singleplayer campaign of many racing games, break ahead of all the AI cars early and then just benefit from being unimpeded by the clumsy AI that'll otherwise get in your way in the most inconvenient of ways.

While it may not be the best in terms of racing, vehicular destruction will never get old! I wouldn't mind seeing a few more of these every now and then.

Entertaining video to say the least, Well done to Leathercap for surviving as long as she did in all the races, the Wingman doesn't seem like the easiest thing to drive when everybody around is out to pretty much murder each other

Very glad to see this! I'd love to see you use Wreckfest more creatively. Someone elsewhere suggests a team race, but even a league would be great fun. Then you'd really feel the urge to survive at all costs. I can tell you are too nice to really get the most out of this though!

The most irritating thing about Wreckfest, is that there is a solid and good physics engine underneath and the vehicle models behave accordingly, which makes for some really fun clean racing. The detailed damage model is just an added bonus for when a genuine accident does happen; it'll look spectacular. The drifting is also quite good when you tune things correctly. To me it's almost like a BeamNG multiplayer. Unfortunately a name and theme like "Wreckfest" attracts the wrong kinds of people. I hope that the developers try to make a more regular racing or even street racing type game in the future.

More like this please. The challenge is in wrecking the others without being wrecked. In any race you can get spit out the back and end up circling on your own.

Just been getting right back into Wreckfest myself, such a fun game every time!

Not only this is fun, as this keeps the need for GTA 5 challenge content like STH, king of the hill, car sumo and so many other game modes alike!

I think the no rules thing works better on the more demolition oriented tracks, and the clean racing better for the actual tracks

Alex might not think this works but I still find this kind of racing more entertaining to watch for Wreckfest as long as there is a full lobby would like to see this with lower classes as well.

I think the "No Rules Racing" requires either a chaos track or a shorter track that will almost guarantee a lapped car or six, or else it ends up like the first race.

Definitely less interesting when you're spaced out but you've also got room for 10 more people in the lobby. Evasive action can be just as entertaining tho.

The thing about wreckfest is that it is about the only game that can do contact racing well. Why just have contact when you can still push and shove and still get a good race out of it?

I agree with the racing (touring car levels of contact) in some ways the ‘wreckfest’ name is an incentive for some people to crash and you can have good racing even in public lobbies if people are willing to race. Good for a change though to see a bit of carnage. 🚗💥🔥

Alex always the gent even when there are no rules... If this becomes a series we need to have the entire grid with 15 pints on board to cause maximum cronchy goodness 😂

This is a bit of the issue with Wreckfest... You're suppose to be crashing during races, but you can either crash or race. I think this is why the short circuts that forces you into small races, figure 8s, stunt cources or similar are the best. The regular races feel like, as you say, everyone crash at the start, then everyone races by themselves.

Those Races is were Wreckfest is best at. The whole balancing of the game is for a bit dirty races. As long as it is not tooo dirty its were the most fun is, atleast for me. What i dont like is driving against traffic and cornerbombing, everything else, cool.

You probably should have had more people for this, it would solve the "not busy enough" problem

Much better. That's how this game is supposed to be played. "Driving round on our own" is still good footage, if that is how the game is supposed to be played. It's the payoff for having the big crashes. Participation medals aren't fun, play to win.

Honestly even in the last race that was full of action & crashes I still prefer your normal clean races
