Ive been doing leatherwork in various forms for about 20yrs. From tooling to modeling to bag making and i have to say that this is one of the best designs I've seen for a no sew, riveted handbag. As simple as it is, its well thought and doesn't look like the assembly with rivets is an afterthought. The rivets are design elements and part of its character. And, the Brogue patternleading to the rivets is inspired. Very well done👏 Imma go check your other stuff out now😁
Good morning Adam, Just came across your page and I love the clutch, however I do have a couple questions for you. Where can the leather be purchased from? I saw on your website that you can sell the bag on home based scale - please explain. Finally, do you edge coat or is it necessary to do.
I like to purchase my leather from A & A Crack in the UK. But Etsy is a good place to buy leather as well, or Tandy in the USA. Any leather that’s more than 1.5mm will work. You don’t need to edge coat but you can if you want to. Home base scale means you making them yourself and then selling them. So not mass production.
