Sharing the latest progress I've made making curtains and building the basic form of the convertible couch.
This is a budget minded, Built-From-Scratch DIY conversion of my high rise truck canopy into a camper. In a few short weeks, I will be moving to California to work for the summer and have always wanted to explore and camp out of my truck on the weekends. If that sounds interesting to you, please follow along on my journey as I document the experience.
Thanks for watching!
Sam

Congratulations on your continuing progress in the midst of experimentation! It is questionable how much insurance we should have on older vehicles; but one thing is for sure: if you continue to hang curtains, you will definitely have "Full Coverage!" For several years I have been toying with the idea of a sofa/bed set-up; in my "Rolling Ramada;" you have given me some new ideas. Some folks try to pattern their bed-sofa set-up after the better known Futon. 'Have a safe & enjoyable camping trip. 'Blessings upon you, Sam, from all across the country in the great Southeast!

What kind of rig is your rolling ramada? Full coverage curtains is the only full coverage thing associated with my truck lol

@@samueljlarson 2004 Ford-150 with a used fiberglass camper shell. We have used it during extended living history trips (10-15 days) going from place to place. Our bed set-up must be removeable because the truck is usedforother purposes throughout the year. My wife & I jokingly call it the Rolling Ramada because motels are scarce in the areas we travel & beyond our budget when available. Hence: "Rolling Ramada!" As always, goodto hear from you, Sam! 'Blessings!

Возможно стоит провести тестовую ночь находясь во дворе дома?

If you mean spend a night in the driveway, yes I agree that would help too. It's just not nearly as exciting as sleeping in the woods.

I meant that if you spend the night in the car without leaving the yard of your own house before a serious trip, perhaps you will notice what else is worth paying attention to. Prevention will be cheaper

@@AV3283 Totally! I've truck camped before though and I am quite confident that I will be ok. Some of the fun is figuring it out as you go. Thanks for commenting!

Traveling in your own car has one serious advantage over other types of travel - you can take tools and materials with you at least for car repairs and not worry about the weight
