Wait!!! What???!! This is 🔥!! That orange was a perfect choice!! I need to get up and head to the thrift store...... You give me so much inspiration! 🙏
I needed this video so much I brought a hoodie for my granddaughter last week and it was too small. I reordered a larger one for her but I couldn’t send the other one back. I’m going to make this for my granddaughter’s niece. This will be perfect with a few adjustments.
I'v only watched this & the 2 piece cut out hoodie but I really like both! Love the no sew but not trash outfits thinking. Hot glue is stiff & u can't wash & dry it without it remelting everywhere & fabric glues only last so long. U put so much thought, time & effort in2 making an outfit, y would u make something that doesn't wash well so u can only wear once or just a few times? That's such a waste of effort, ability & materials! Glad I'm not the only 1 who thinks that way❣ Can't wait 2 watch the next 2, c u soon❣
I really LOVE sewing. No sew is just crazy. No one would ever buy clothes in the store that are not sewn and secure - ala glue. Grommets are are much harder than sewing IMO 😜😜😜😜 But let me stop venting cause I love your channel! And I would sew mine together, with swapped color lantern style sleeves.
I love this upcycle! I think i will do this but with a funky colored zipper in the front and using the grommets and laces in the back. So cool! Thanks for the inspo!!
It's ok Angelina. We know green is your favorite color. 😆 🤣 I love how each video is someone's favorite and people's initial opinions changed based on your creative outcomes.
Super cute and stylish! I like the "Choose Your Own Adventure" series idea; perhaps with shirts or jeans. Although I picked a different one when voting, I think I like this one the best I think I would wear a t-shirt underneath, which could also add another pop of color and make it more modest.
I love this. I think I'd try this with grommets and laces in the front only, including the hood. Then I'd just connect the back pieces with a sewing machine. I'm curious what the hood would look like undone and unfolded like a collared shirt. Great project.
I love this hoodie!! Would love to do something like this but maybe not the full gromets down the front, but I love the look at the top with them and the back. So fun and creative!!
I am a new subscriber, and I love love the two tone sweatshirt! And I’m definitely feeling the corset hoodie also. Great work 👍🏽 I will check your video on what is the best beginners sewing machine for myself. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
I didn't really care for the inspiration version but your grommets took the idea to the next level! Do you notice the difference in fit between the two sides, since the grey one was more fitted to begin with? You could try seam ripping the logo embroidery out if you don't want it. Or cover it with a patch.
@@BlueprintDIY a guy at work was wearing a white & black hoodie yesterday, like the inspiration (except his had a large graphic on the front). First time I've seen it irl.
I do think you should have made the tshirt yarn for the laces but I’m still amazed you were able to find colored sweatshirts!! I’ve been SCOURING the thrift stores looking for hoodies that weren’t just gray or black (I found an orange one and a teal one many many MANY months ago when I first had my two piece set ideas. Now I’m lucky if I can even find black lol) But I’m watching the next one and will report on my update of this series 🤣🤣🤣
Depends on what you’re going to make. For something like this where you’re not taking in the sides I would go with a size that fits you in a way you like. But for other projects it may be good to get bigger sizes to have more fabric to work with.
