You have very natural hair transplant - the best I’ve ever seen. I was born with a very high M hairline (worst natural hairline in the world) and so am thinking of getting one. I am 24.
Thanks! If that's the case for you, you have to be very careful when choosing a doctor. In order to recreate what nature should have is extremely difficult task. To match hair growth angles and density to your native hair is tough job.
Currently experiencing hair loss, and I bought in to the hype of no poo. My hair was very stylable, but greasy and stinky, and my scalp was very irritated. Thank you that you mentioned that Minoxidil causes redness and flakiness on the scalp if its not washed because thats literally what happened to my head during my 2 weeks of no poo. This scalp irritation really *worsened* my hair loss, there's a lot more falling now, and I just got back into using shampoos again and hopefully recover. Hope other people dont do the same mistake as me.
Minoxidil makes more hair loss to generate more new healthy hair in the first weeks (it usually takes 2 weeks, the new hair would be seen in the month 2 as my experience). That's how it works. And never stop using minoxidil because once you stop and start again, that cycle would happen again. I use minoxidil for years, it actually makes my hairline better. But if you found something better than minoxidil before using it, I suggest you to not using minoxidil because it's like a trap that makes you must use it forever. Once you stop, the hair loss would get worse.
i have wavy/curly hair, started 2 weeks ago and dont regret, its still greasy but i found out that drying it off nicely with my towel makes it seem less oily, ill keep doing it as its way easier to style my hair and it stays in place, whilehaving less volume
My experience in regards to shampoo is in the same area. I stopped using shampoo nearly 2 years ago. I noticed that my hair and skin quality improved wastly. Up to the age of 20 i had MASSIVE Problems with dandruff. As a Kid i literally had milimeters of sheets of dandruff covering my whole head, i guess due to stress in the family. Of course i tried using Products like Head and Shoulders, but that actually worsened my condition greatly, giving the saying "Let it snow" a whole new meaning. I guess the takeaway is, that evolution evolved our skin to look after itself and protect itself. Shampoo is NOT mandatory for eveery person. There are of course exception with certain conditions, however i believe that alot of the Problems were facing are eíther caused or worsened by the reliance on Products that should not be necessary but are marketed as a necessity.
Sadly tho, since the age of 21 my hair loss worsened. On the front and the back. I guess now that i no longer have dandruff it strikes back with the hair loss :D
I just went for it, it peaked for greasyness at around week 2 and week 4 my dandruff started to go away and now at week 6 my hair feels soft and strong. My hair is still slightly greasy around the sides but each day I'm noticing it's reducing.
To remove dead skin from scalp, I brush once a week or two weeks. Dead skin comes off and I feel relief from itching. After that just wash it away with water.
I did the same experiment and also went thru the greasy phase. really uncomfortable and itchy at first but worth the suffering. screw shampoos. most have parabens. I just use bar soap now lol
i just started to doing no shampoo and my dandruff has worsened, i wash it once a day with water when i take a shower, what do you mean exfoliate with a brush, so do i just use a brush and go through my hair while under the water? and how long did it take/will it take for my dandruff to go away as it is currently just increasing and is very annoying.
My mom used to ridicule me for not using enough shampoo, she was really strict that I used a lot because “it’d make my hair less greasy”. It’s been several months of not using shampoo and she’s stopped complaining about my hair being greasy
I went for I think 4 days with no shampoo and my hair became water resistant lmao. Like I came out of the shower one day and realized the hair wasn't even wet just really really greasy.
lol, that's why you don't just "go for it". Your scalp has to adapt in order to produce less and less sebum. Take it slowly, if you're not using any products, it might be worth it.
@@OfficerRamenits been over 2 months for me and my hair still feels greasy even when i am washing it. The only difference for me is that it doesnt bother me as much but its still greasy and that makes me doubt this. I dont understand what I am suppose to do at this point thinking of going back to shampoo
It depends. My girlfriend mentioned it few times in the past. Another example Is one person asked me if I had a haircut, because my hair looks good. I didn't have, just washed hair few hours before. Indirect comment.
@@MrRolandas My point is that no one has randomly just walked up to you and said your hair looked so fresh and clean. BTW, I go no shampoo too, and agree, my hair is soft and shiny too. I just wash my hair with warm water every day in the shower. I go through the motions as if using shampoo, scrubbing my scalp, etc..., but it's just water.
I'm a dude 2 weeks in. Just water and also use geranium oil in water spray bottle. Also a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute oils from scalp through top of hair. Not going back.
Hello , i have a question!! One guy once said using shampoo makes the hair dependent on the shampoo for oils ..so the hair won’t be able to produce all the important oils .. so if i started the no poo is it okay if i use also organic oil for my hair ? Like oregano and other organic oils..im not aure of i did use it wont it affects my hair in not producing it naturally?
i remember when i needed to wash my hair twice a day. When i threw all this stuff to trash and started using nizoral 1-2 per week i have hair in good condition.
i have eczema and dandruff on the scalp, its not that cool without shampoo.. i never made any good experiance using no shampoo... i use keto shampoo once a week and then anti dandruff.. now im free of Symptoms, my scalp is clean and i start micro needling and minoxidil now...
Thanks dude, you practically answered the majority of my concerns. Tons of material on the internet and yet rarely did I find such an educative video. I'm sure a lot of info can be gathered from your channel as you're clearly competent on the topic, will certainly take a look. I don't wanna prolong for too much - hoping you'll notice the comment. 😅 Maybe you've covered this already but I was wondering about rosemary oil. It's preferred to be left on the scalp for some time (overnight for example) and then be washed so a build-up doesn't happen, like you mentioned in the video. And now on that part, do you think rosemary can be washed with water only? As I'm trying to limit shampoo but at the same time find an alternative to clean the scalp after oiling. Would appreciate a word or two. :)
I'd be careful with oils if you do not use shampoo as they're are thick and will be very difficult to just wash it off with water. You'd need a higher temperature, but it can also dry your scalp and hair. You can use even conditioner on its own to help removing buildup.
Hello. I try to avoid shampoo and products in general. I don’t use any hair styling products. Occasionally I apply pumpkin seed oil to scalp. Do I need to use shampoo subsequently or will water be ok?
Since im not using any hair styling products anymore, i am trying to avoid shampoo from now on. Im currently just washing my hair with water every morning and i was wondering if its ok to blow dry it on a cold setting until its dry or do you see a problem in this?
Thanks for your reply. And thanks for making your videos. I learned so much through your channel. I would say that you have the best hair transplant results compared to all the other RU-vidrs that I’ve seen. I have another question. On the days that you don’t use shampoo and you just rinse with water, do you still use conditioner or no?
MR Rolandas Hello, I did two hair transplants 3 years ago, the situation is fine. I read about microscopic scalp pigmentation. I would like to do it to give a kind of density to the hair. do you recommend it
Why wouldn't you do more transplant for density rather than smp? I'm saying this, as more hair is always better than fake 2d black dots. It's great for donor area, but not a fan for density.
If your hair is short you may not need conditioner at all. If your hair is longer you want to put conditioner from your mid lengths to the ends. Leave in for a bit and then rinse out. I hope this helps!
@@hellokittydoll2794 thank you so much this helped immensely. good thing that i didn't use it 2 months ago since my hair was kinda short at the time now it should be suitable to use
Hi Rolandas SOS mate, 6 months on oral finasteride, I am still undergoing an aggressive hair shedding, but now things are out of control: now my hair is not shedding but come out in clumps, It's so scary. I made an experience, I washed my hair yesterday and thus morning I decided to wash it again to see how many hair I will shed, I was expecting less shedding since it's only 24 hours between the two, but man, it was coming out in clumps, it's like all my hairs are laying on the surface of my scalp. OMG😱 What is wrong with my hair? Is my body producing more DHT now as a reaction to the DHT blocker which makes this aggressive Shedding? Should I try dutasteride? Never used to shed like this 6 months ago....
I understand you're freaking out, I would too! However the good news is these hair will grow back. Its not like you are going slick bald. It just looks scary for now. It's apet of hair growth cycles, specially that you recently started finasteride. Check this video for more info ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A4z6iguknrw.html
@@MrRolandas do you mean I should continue to take the drug as nothing is happening, tough my hair volume has decreased a lot. My hair is thinner than 6 months ago when I started the medication, I can definitely realise that when i come to Comb it
It doesn't. The only doctor who came up with this theory started selling his own protein. This is telling. I'm writing this while drinking my whey protein (no joke haha)
Hi Rolandas, can you make a video giving your thoughts on the latest verteporfin updates. While not immaculate I think its a huge leap forward that could be really life changing.
I would wait a bit longer before doing an update. It would still be speculation. From what I've seen there's nothing definitive. Although I must admit, it does seem to work to some extent, which I'm glad
@@MrRolandas Fair, I'll respect your stance on this. Do you not think the latest update last week for the 0.4 concentration was definitive? I would say it is, however that could easily be a case of me seeing what i want to see and I appreciate other peoples views.
