Check out how to troubleshoot and fix the issue of No signal to Monitor that can happen with your PC. Fix Starts- 1:55 (Hold down power for 1 Minute while plugged out) Full Article: www.blogtechtips.com/2016/01/0...
Take a bow sir. The holding down of the power button for a minute fixed my issue. I was already shopping for a new graphics card , mobo and PSU before watching this clip. You've saved me a lot of money. Thank you.
Unplug comp take out videocard put back in usally works for me also check conections still don't work send it back in get another or if you have extra video card try it or borrow friends if it works send it back get another, Once i put in wrong slot lol and power supply big enough to run everything?
I'm so very thankful for the fix in this video! Woke up this morning to No Signal and tried all the usual IT department requirements (unplug, reboot, try different ports, swap cable, etc.). Still No Signal. So I hopped on my phone, did a quick Google search, and found this video. I've never heard of unplugging the tower THEN holding down the power button, but it is a legitimate solution to try if you don't have some other major problem going on. Thank you Ricardo for saving me from spending half my day at the tech store buying a new monitor or HDMI card!
bro i spent like 3 hours unplugging and plugging stuff back in when all i had to do was change where my hdmi cord was plugged in 🤦 thank you this really helped!
This was a huge help to me. I just went out and purchased a new monitor and came across this problem. Was quite frustrated before watching your video. Thank you :)
OMG YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER DUDE. I DIDNT THINK THIS WOULD WORK SINCE I'VE HAD MY PC ALREADY BUILT FOR 2 YEARS BUT IT DID. IT SEEMS TO BOOT UP WAY FASTER NOW TOO. THANK YOU SO MUCH
I watched the first 3 minutes and thought "naaaaaaaaa, this isn't gonna work" and figured, what the heck, I'll give it a go. It actually worked!!! Thanks!
what the actual? the only reason i tried the first step was because i read this message... why would unplugging my computers power cable and holding the start button down fix my no signal to my monitor issue? so much confuse >.
I just subscribed to your channel. I bought another pc and spent ATLEAST 48 hours looking at other RU-vid videos that didn’t help at all. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Wow. Lifesaver. First step worked for me holding in the power button for 60 secs. No idea how or why but very grateful. I didn’t for one second think it would work. Its a kind of magic. Thanks.
I'm impatient as hell but after claiming down and walking away for a few days I came back and got it to finally work. Removing the battery for a minute did it. Thank you so much.
What magic is this?I did the unplug then push and hold the power button for 1 min then plug it back again...and I turned on my pc and my monitor is working well again...you're a wizard.
You are a hero! I was in a state of panic when my old trusty Dell Dimension 4600 would not send the image to my monitor. By just unplugging the power cord, reconnecting the power cord restarting the computer fixed the problem :) THANK YOU!!
A huge thank you for this video - I was pretty crushed when I discovered that my brother's Samsung computer monitor would only show a check signal cable message. I tried three different monitors with the same results. I started searching for solutions and found your excellent video. Today, I tried your step by step instructions hoping that it would be an easy fix on the first attempt. The power cable did not solve the problem and no video card to deal with so thought I would try the CMOS battery. That was the golden ticket! Computer is up and running and a catastrophe has been averted. I am hoping it doesn't give me any more problems but at least I have your suggestions to try again. Pretty proud of my accomplishment as I have never opened a computer case before today. Thanks again!
You are amazing I've left my PC just sitting in my spare room for almost a year cause I just gave up. Decided to have another crack tonight. Much love you beautiful human 💕
LIFE SAVER! It was the RAM. Just had to pull out the ram, dust it off and snap them back in and I’m GOLDEN! Just earned that like and subscribe my friend!
Thanks a loot man! Tried the power button trick and alone it didn't work, but then I kept trying the steps... Checked the cables, cleaned the Rams, took the battery out for a sec, and I don't really know Wich one did the thing but when I plugged all back the monitor worked and I jumped with my fists up saying yess like if my baseball team won the series hahaha 👍🏻 keep it up bro!
THANK YOU SO MUCH BROTHER, FOR ME IT WORKED THE FIRST ATTEMPT, YOU SAVED MY LIFE, I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP!! ALL THE BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. YOU DESERVE FIVE STAR APPRECIATION ALL THE WAY AND A SUB. GOD BLESS YOU WITH SO MUCH LOVE.
@Ismel Bad; Yes he did indeed otherwise I would have lost all my saved work and info including documents Etc. Some people use their computer as a toy!! just to play others depend on it for their daily work. I hope you got the answer!!!
I had fix my signal problem after so many times have to shut down my computer from the plug on wall. I decided to look for help. I did what you indicate on video my problem looks like it was from blue connector, I change to the second connector it may be dirt or damage and it did work I was happy No need to go to the repairs yet. I have Asus mother board Soon will need to update after 11 years I Thank you very much for the video showing and taking your time to teach people how to fix their pc's
Thanks! I always thought mine was a monitor issue but it was the ram that was causing the problem. Didn't notice the ez debug led until I watched this video!
On my partner's phone looking how to fix my no signal issue after the pc got knocked over. I legit took out all my components and re inserted with no joy. Holding the power button fixed it!! Thank you so much it save me much stress and possibly money.
Vaeza bro holy shit I read ur comment and I was like I got nothing to lose , the monitor won’t connect or anything. I push the ram in and it clicks then turn on the monitor best feeling in the world. Shit finally starts up
Thank you so much! Had no signal but new pc turned on... Held down the power button for 1 minute with the cord totally unplugged. It turned on the first time back!
While holding down the power button I noticed that my video cable want pushed all the way in. I don't know which thing fixed it, but thank you either way!
I just do not know or understand or even care what kind of witchcraft happened when i held down the power button for a minute but it worked! You are an absolute hero my man you just solved a recurring problem i had for four years. I owe you a beer.
Amazing! I honestly did not expect this to work, but the power cable trick did! I've bought all sorts of new cables, if only I'd seen this first! What a star! Thanks dude 👍🏻
God bless you Ricardo!!! Thank you so much brother my mother’s PC was having this issue recently and I tried everything, so glad we didn’t have to buy a new one!
Help guys I have a hd7970 ghz edition 3gb and when I connect it through hdmi it says "hdmi power save mode" but when I connect my older hd6870 with the same hdmi it works just fine although the hdmi i's quite long probably longer than 6foot. Once it worked but then when I put pc on sleep mode it the display never worked again and kept saying hdmi power saving mode.I v tried everything took the ram out took the mobo battery out unplug cables but not working .The last time it worked again was few days ago when I tried a different pcie cable but I doubt that made it work,I think either I'm having problems with my gpu hdmi port and I should try dvi dual link cable instead and hopefully it works, or my gpu is on its way out but then if it was dying I don't get why did it worked perfectly twice. I got the card given by a friend btw. Tried to connect it to my tv amd it says no signal check the device power connection or something like this.Any help would be appreciated..
Had no signal problems. Knew my cables and parts where all in good condition. Tried the disconnect the power cable technique and hold in for 60 seconds. Turned my pc on. Let it run for 10 seconds. Then turned my monitor on and it all worked. Got signal now. Thanks so much. Awesome video.
THANK YOU! I know enough about the internals and have built PCs from scratch to be convinced that my motherboard must be fried! But your trick of holding down the 'on' button for a minute worked. A minute feels like a long time and I just could't imagine why this woud work - BUT IT DID! - again thank you.
Thank you. Holding down the power button when things were unplugged worked. I had no signal and my motherboard did not have a plug in. I hope this helps more people.
I was able to clean the gold leads on my RAM gently with a towel and it did the trick. This was my second attempt to clean the RAM. The first time I tried to simply spray the leads and connection with a can of compressed air and it did not help. Thanks for the video!
Should i do this methods even if my pc is new ? because i want to try 2 monitors. but the problem is it says no signal at vga and hdmi at graphics card . but only 1 port I can use for 1 monitor the DVI port. I worried to buy a new monitor because I try the other ports and it says no signal . can this methods work for mine ?
I have been sat here for four hours taking this apart, cleaning etc. The only thing I didn’t do was remove the cmos battery, and of course...it worked, thank you so much man
Bruh, I wish I could find this video sooner... I tried different cables, I cleaned my RAM and RAM slots, tried to turn the PC on with just one RAM, I tried with different cables, different monitors, different graphic card even... All I had to do was to boot up and it worked on the first try, and I didn't see this solution in any other video. Thank you man!
For those who still have this problem and keeps on trying different things. I suggest to plug the cable to the videocard. Maybe get a adaptor if needed. This is worth a try because most of the time you cant connect a monitor to the motherboard if you already have a videocard. It needs to be connected to the videocard. I hope this helps. This method works for me, just spreading what i have learned.
Ricardo! Thank you so much! I tried resetting the cmos by removing the motherboard battery, using the jumper, and using a flathead to the jumper. Did what you said and held the power button down with the power supply unplugged and in the on position for 1min and in the off position for another. Thanks again!
