You think that's bad? Her full name is Molly Wolly Doodle-all-the-way Blyndeff, her father came up with the full name as he wanted his children to have unique names, this is revealed in the Tulaween videos
Other puns I noticed: Potage is a sort of thick soup Sylvester Ashling can be shortened to "Sylph Ash" which means fairy dust Mera sounds like mirror Percival King's buildings are always in a fantasy medieval style. Darkstar has Binary as an epithet, which could be an obscure pun about Binary Star systems.
So happy you decided to watch this. 32:39 You have to really analyze epithets. Epithets are like One Piece Devil Fruit powers. With enough creativity, ANY power becomes OP bullshit. In this scene you see steam. Giovanni is concentrated soup under his feet and super heating it till he has enough steam power to rocket him. Every time he says "Teleports Behind You" that is what he is doing.
So fun fact: it's not 'arson', it's arsene amulet. It's a reference to a classic french literary character known as Arsene Lupin, a master thief, who nowadays who mostly known as the great grandfather of Lupin III, a character from an anime/manga series of the same name. Good name for a power stelaing amulet, yes?
Arier... I CURRENTLY work in a museum. The Museum Arc has in fact taken a different perspective. Seeing your pain has been delicious, but also alarming for what I might become...
Also, somthing I didn't notice when I watched it but did notice when I watched anime campaign, the stats are for the users of the epithet. Edit: here's what the stats mean, stamina means how long they can use there epithet, proficiency is how experienced they are with it, and creativity is how good they are at using it in unique situations.
@@caltheuntitled8021 funny thing about that, someone reuploaded all of AC onto youtube and unlike the last time this happened where jello took it down within a month, jello hasn't done anything about this reupload, so if you wanna push your luck then track it down if you want.
One Piece hasshown us how creativity can make powers even more dangerous and poweful, for example 'creativity' is the reason one of the strongest characters in the series has the power...to push things.
His creativity is so high because of stuff like teleports behind you where he shoots himself over the enemy with his soup steam and te fog of lost souls which may or may not be an avatar reference
I think my favorite line from ignis in this episode is when he's stuck in the wall and says. "Do not worry, lady Mera said that laws are merely suggestions!"
We see Molly use her powers here on Ben pretty effectively, but imagine a situation in which she manages to simplify/dumb down someone's entire molecular structure, causing God knows what to happen. Her creativity is pretty high, so she could probably think of it on her own, but with people like Giovanni in her life it could definitely come up in conversation.
I’m so glad to see someone else reacting to this series. I only watched it earlier this year for the first time and I fell in love with the concept so much that I, of course, made my own character as I watched it.
@Joel Sasmad Mine was "Rainbow" ...I have no idea what it could possibly mean cause Epithets tend to range between seemingly useless to absolutely blatantly overpowered Also, surprisingly fitting, considering I was (and still kinda am) obssessed with coloring anything with rainbow colors
One of the few people I've seen who takes the creativity stat seriously, bravo! In a 'mechanical' sense(with the series being derived from a tabletop game.) creativity represents a person's ability to interpret their epithets word, hence why a high creativity 'Soup' can essentially be flavored steam, as Giovanni does for his movement. Rarely do I see people actually piece together or notice that it's not just flavor text.
Oh you're in for a very good time. This was adapted from an anime Campaign which was a D&D styled game Epithets can be any word, and it all depends on how the individual interprets that word. So two people can have the same epithet but have different powers
on one hand, I have to give credit to brendan for managing to make a father character who's so swiftly and obviously hateable without being absurdly unrealistic with how he acts; on the other, I have to experience the emotions attached to such a writing feat, so I'm a bit mixed about my opinion
Wait a minute, you're telling me that of ALL things Jello has done you know him because of HAMTARO ABRIDGED!?!?!? ...i mean, first of all , lol nostalgia, but also i think you have to add him to the list of channels you have to bingewatch all his content, also this series is based on a campaign done along the Third wheel crew, they have many more on the ir channel (personal favorite is Thrilling intent) in case you are curious
One thing to note about the power system is that because it's based on Words, any way you could use the word is a potential power the epithet User would have access to. As we saw with Dumb, it gives Molly the ability to: 1. Silence things (Because dumb can mean "Mute" as in a person who is unable to speak) 2. Dumb down people (Because Dumb can mean "Idiot") 3. Dumb down attacks (Because to "Dumb down" something means making it simpler.) This is where the Creativity stat comes into play, were the more uses a character can create for their Epithet the higher the stat becomes.
So... I know that this is a pretty old video, but Epithet powers are based on their dictionary descriptions. Here is Dumb's: - Verb: make dumb or unheard; silence.
I think you like all future episodes, and I do recommend you watch the end videos as they have special messages and fan art. Also, no, it is split into two parts at two different locations. And if you want something like Epithet Erashed, I suggest you check out Overly Sarcastic Production "Journey to the West" along with a few other videos on the hijinks of history, summary of literature, and myths. For its humor is very similar as they do a abridges the books we know as Journey to the West. "So begins every anime trope." "Monkey is living out his worst nightmare. Being the voice of reason." "He's becoming self-aware." "I don't care you represent the human spirit. You are a goddam dragon. You can't be this boring (useless)." the narrator Red says to the dragon transformed into a horse as it snorted to her. Along with some history hijinks like "Failed Assassinations - History Hijinks", where Blue states on Gunpowdered Rebellion their secret identity, "Ah, John Johnson. He must have a respectable career of doing a job at place."
I was kind of a Dawson to before I lost my job due to.... let's say the global pandemic. And I know how Mera feels. She is my spirit animal. But luckily sometimes the kids at school were a lot better behaved than the ones with the parents.
Sorry my speaking type it wasn't working very well. Because my dyslexia stops me from typing. Try to get it back, the job I mean butt..... it's kind of been more than a year or so. So I'm trying to do things on the internet.... like streaming. And I'm just going to leave it at that
Oh also giovani and endius is that endius’s barriers are energy based and don’t need him actively watching them to use them so endus can just be lazy with them and not think to much while giovani has to manually produce his attacks and there’s only so much water in the air at any time so he is very limited with how much it drains him vs how he uses it so that’s why he has to be smart with them
Honestly when I watched the passage where the father is talking his 12 years old daughter having to do a night shift because he is a lazy PoS... I though I was having a stroke and couldn't comprehend the scene correctly... but no... no stroke... I was not hallucinating either...
one of the explanations for that is that molly may have accidentally used her power on him, but unless that's confirmed her dad is in the top worst animated fathers
@@Leostar-Regalius Yeah I have read that part, but at the same time I feels like it's a bit much of a stretch considering that he is just being selfish and obnoxious who doesn't give a rat ass about the suffering of his own child rather than dumb and stupid (although he is plenty stupid the fact that is stupid is not the issue here). What he does is straight up evil as a parent and being dumb and stupid does not mean being a PoS. If she used her power accidentally on him, I feel like that means that he went from a smart(er) PoS to a stupid PoS (but still a piece of shit nonetheless).
Heeeeeeyyyyyy fellow museum boy! I'm a gallery associate, not in security so never worked when it's empty but I do do a lot of events at night so I'm no stranger to the museum after dark. I've got some stories that I will of course choose not to share cause nobody cares but also yes they're embarrassing.
Concept OC: A character with the Epithet 'Stand' who is one big Jojo reference. Theoretically, they could probably have their 'stand' use any existing Jojo stand ability
On another note, maybe you could do a reaction to Jello's Ace Attorney Investigations Highlights (Miles is on Fire and Miles is a Robot) at some point too? They're pretty good
