No Space, No Problem! Container Rollover Uprighted in Midair. We are on a roll (no pun intended) with this midair / barrel roll technique! This one, like the fire hydrant video, was necessary due to the super tight working environment. The midair roll allows us to flip it without taking any additional space on either side which worked out perfect here.
We got this job from our pal Jonas at Kustom Tow, and I originally sent Alex only in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. Due to the weight and space, he called me and I decided to take Hulk, my 50ton rotator, just to make things easier. We each hugged our sides super close so we can maximize our outriggers, then rigged to each end using our Bailey's Platinum slings.
The job was quick, and once upright we held it for the tractor to back up underneath the loaded container. A quick tension check showed the container was not leaning, meaning our job was done. Oh, and we got coffee and donuts! That's always a plus LOL.
What do you guys think of the midair roll technique we've been doing a lot lately? Don't forget to head to www.pepestowla.com/shop after the video and grab your cool Pepe's swag to represent your favorite tow company!
►All footage was shot with my DJI Action 4, Sony FX3 and Alex's GoPro. I also edit my own footage using DaVinci Resolve Studio.
►My company logo and intro/outro graphics were created by / sa.creations

Argh! Working under Ron Pratt's titled "Arc Nemesis" and NO ROOM! I couldn't back my little car into that spot, let alone Hulk. Josh and Alex work so perfectly together.

At 5:05 it looks like the ground under the left landing gear collapsed. So that would be my guess.
@Lastcall-365
@Lastcall-365 10 месяцев назад
@@Jehty_The landing gear is cranked all the way up, my guess is that the driver detached and dropped it off the fifth wheel.
@pear7777
@pear7777 6 месяцев назад
@Lastcall-365 naahhh, the landing gear was out, Josh almost hit it, till Jonas stopped him. It was retracted after Hulk was placed.. The ground looked bad at first, but later not so. Still don't know why it fell over.

Question, can the outriggers shift the truck side to side? I was wondering when you were close to the fence, could you raise the truck off the ground then extend the right side while retracting the left side? Great job, amazing watching you work in unison to roll the trailer in place.

@PepesTowingService
@PepesTowingService Год назад
It’s possible but nothing compares to the speed and efficiency of rotators. Here, you would have to drag the container out more. A lot of potential damage and re-rigging to get a truck on each end to back up to it. The rotators just park once and bam, showtime
