No-Spill Gas Can - Put to the Test! 

If you stick the spout right in the filling port it will automatically stop filling once gas reaches the spout. Then just let go of the button and pull it out. Make sure to hold it for a second when you’re pulling it out though, because a tiny bit of gas comes out of the spout as it comes above the gas level.

Just don't fill the can too fast, I have 4 of them and didn't remove it from any of them, and none of them leaked

Yes they spill... They take too long to fill also... I have spilled MORE gas using these cans that I ever did using the old style cans... The REAL hack here is to go to Harbor Freight or Tractor Supply... Buy one of their spout kits with a vent... Carefully install the vent and screw on the new "no drama" spout... Go on about your business and fill without a spill... By paying attention to what you are doing and using common sense...
