I bought one of these Miami Blue models here in America. Love it! I put a bunch of mods on these Pro Mod San Dimas guitars based on what I prefer, but the skeleton itself is excellent. The 4th one of these I've owned over the years. Love this new color!

@@d0nniebr00ke7 I got a Miami Blue SD on the way. Did you do anything to mod yours? Any issues with blocking the trem? The reason I chose this one is it's one of the only Charvels that needs nothing done to it spec wise. I'd only think about the little things like a brass block or a tremol-no.

@@d0nniebr00ke7 The FR special is pot metal I think. The loss of resonance there has a benefit of less unwanted noise. The DK24 can be blocked with an L-brace, and if you add a spring you have full hardtail performance plus dives. But the metal contact makes the guitar acoustically brilliant, so the string tree even gets loud, and you can't fix that discreetly. So it looks like I'm a FR + Tremol-no guy. Or maybe don't touch the cavity, and consider a second San Dimas HT your 'trem blocker.'

At 2.28 they still use the crappy 3 way switch which cuts off the sound when changing positions. I had the 2019 model and had the same issue. Apart from that great guitars for the money.

The pickups sounds great in full humbucker or split single. Kinda wish it came in white or with gold/nickel pickup cover. Just a small mod anyway. Amazing playing! Stumbled upon this at my local guitar shop online and have yet to give it a try. That Miami Porsche Blue looks amazing 🥹 the Floyd kinda throws me off a little because of how annoying it is but I've never had a Floyd so I might get one just because

I saw this on the shelf in Guitar Center last night. It's beautiful. It was the best looking guitar in the store among solid bodies you could reasonably compare it to. A vivid blue with black fretboard and gold hardware to me is just beautiful. It's also glossed. I don't really care for matte finishes in practice. It's a money saver at the factory and there's very little maintenance ability at home. You'll invariably have a half semi-gloss guitar in a matter of months.
