The 6 Hours of Monza are in the books for our Peugeot 9X8! Thanks to all of you, fans and partners, for supporting us on this journey, we don't give up, we'll keep pushing!
@@TwoTwoFourSix better have everything ready before Le Mans because no one wants repeat of the time they debuted diesel Peugeot to challenge Audi, they had like 3,5 seconds/lap advantage but the reliability costed the victory + the car didn't work at all during rain.
It looks extraordinary out on track. I don't remember the last time I tuned in to watch a race specifically waiting to see a certain car on the screen. Here's hoping for progress with realising the 9X8's potential at Fuji!
Probably the best looking car on track, but there's a lot of work to be done on both pace and reliability. I'm glad you are back and looking forward to more improvements in the future!
I've been waiting eagerly for the debut ever since the first pictures of the 9X8 was revealed and I was so happy that we finally got to see it put to the test yesterday. These next couple of years are going to be amazing for WEC and I'm so excited for more brands to join in and take to the track!
Me too, I cant freaking wait to hear that ear shattering v12 from the aston, and the badass turbo v8 joining the grid. I hope I can one day travel to see a wec endurance race in person in its golden age.
It is an impressive looking car. The color, the lines, the lighting system all look a notch above. Coming from the French, I expect no less. I must dig deeper and find out more.
This car`s made history already. Nowing car has potential to win, i see it, though i thougt it was unbelieveable. I thought porsche`s are the kings of engineering, you made me forget this. My ❤ belongs to 9x8 until its the last race. In joy or sorrow I`ll be its biggest fan
Un bon début pour une voiture encore en développement. Mais c'est plein de promesses. EN tout cas visuellement, c'est une beauté ! J'espère qu'elle sera un jour disponible sur iracing.
Yeah, they drive nice... until they break down. The French could never make a good road car, never have and never will. On used markets you find more cars not working / for parts than in drivable condition. Same for Italian cars.
@@masterkamen371 Bullshit. Look where german cars are right now? The very end of reliability rankings. Japanese and korean brands are leading right now in that area. French cars are not to shabby in my opinion.
@@Nudel-nc1cp Have you ever owned a Renault, Peugeot or Fiat? Or are you just talking out of your ass because you are fanboying the brand because of a new race car that has absolutely nothing to do with production models?
I watched the race live yesterday only because of Peugeot competing in it. The race was great for the first time, especially the charge of the #93 through the LMP2 field was amazing to watch. Great job by the mechanics also to bring the #94 home. It can only get better from now, I wish you all the best for the future! ~A Peugeot fan
@@mac.fk14 No way, they were between 2 tenth and 2sec off the pace depending of the part of the stint. They still have a lot of work to do, and I suspect they were conservative performance wise, both for reliability and for looking weak to the FIA for politics (always to be expected with BOP).
I am so pissed off i didnt get to watch this race yesterday. I live in tx and my son and I were so hyped up for a month to watch the debut of the 9X8. We sim race daily. The in car feeds got cut by RU-vid or someone. The full race wasn't aired on TV. I even bought a vpn and still couldn't see anything. So hard to be a die hard fan when cant watch the sport that you love to obsess over. Love the car Peugeot!! New get it tuned and dialed in to best the field.
Having a Peugeot RCZ, i'm a Peugeot fan/supporter/tifoso now, and also of Alfa Romeo (my former car) but Alfa is not what it used to be in Motorsports.Go go Peugeot!
Vive la France Im really happy to see all that work done on this hypercar and so glad to see peugeot back for 24h of Le Mans. Vive La France
Peugeot, congratulations for the work, for the car, the team, and for this show that was presented to us this Sunday the 10th. It wasn't this time, but it was enough to show our value, and show what we are capable of... The next test is ours, because unlike other automakers, Peugeot flies low. 💚😍🦁😍💚
Despite the Front of the car being an "Audi LMP1 best of" the wingless Package is awesome and I love the innovative Ideas! Go Peugoet! Can you imagine in a Few years, Porsche: the old Master, Audi: the Champion, Toyota: the pretender, Peugoet: the local hero, Ferrari: the revanchist, Lamborghini: the young guns and Caddillac, Acura, Glickenhaus and Vanvall. It will be a Festival.
so awesome to see more manufacturers starting to join wec. 2023 is going to be golden era gt1 levels of crazy. You guys put up a good fight! Very few debut appearances of new race cars happen without hickups. You will still be above the new competition coming next year with some added r&d so keep ironing out the kinks!. The team looks ready to fight and the car looks beautiful!
Considering it had no Livery and such I can see it was a test run under real conditions, and it looked quite good, also it finished, that is quite the achievement, I am by no means a fan, but I always love to see more variety in the field, makes the racing interesting.
