Thanks Millie. It's pretty out here. Just cleaned up the front porch. Amy was dumping boxes left and right from the Pan Room (PR1) and Flash (and Jr.) had no problems collecting the cardboard and packing paper. On our way to the transfer station again to dump it and then head to the "big" city so Amy can hit up Home Goods for something. Yeehaw!!!
Not having trash service can be a pain. But then, I don't have to worry about missing "trash day" and feeling pity that no one will come visit me and my trash for several days. LOL. We got a full load. Amy's been unboxing the PR1 and dumping boxes all over the place. Keeping me, Flash and Jr. busy.
Hi Amy & Eric!!! I remember as kids we would go to the dump with our Dad♡. Now a days you have to pay to dump anything...Maybe someone around you will take your trash to the dump. I wouldn't like to do that...But...you guys are still young!!! The land around you is really so...beautiful... The dump brought back good memories because as kids we really enjoyed the dump!!! Great video my friends!!!
I used to love to go to the dump when we were kids! We have the transfer station a few miles from the house that we use on a regular basis. It actually works out pretty good! The land out here is so beautiful! It is unbelievable to wake up to it every day! I hope everything is going well for you! Thanks for watching!
Hola DiDi. Thanks for watching. When I lived in Carson City growing up, we had trash service because we lived in a trailer park. But when we bought land further out in the desert, we didn't have trash service. We had a burn barrel, and the dump was 14 miles away. Took trash out (what didn't burn) on the way to the super market.
Saturday was insane. After I broke down the boxes (and I mean YESTERDAY Saturday, not the one when this was filmed), I used Flash and Jr. to haul to the truck. Amy was a woman on a mission. That's all I can say. The house is getting there.
This is great. We used to go to the town dump every once in a while when I was a kid. We had trash service but for the big stuff we'd head out there. It was very exciting and mysterious to me. lol
Glad you enjoyed it. Kinda odd to film a trip to the dump. My neighbor said we should have just burned the boxes/paper, but I prefer to recycle them. Amy unboxed 50ish boxes on Saturday. So I had a huge load to take to the transfer station Saturday afternoon. The attendant helped me with them. Now we can see so much more floors in the living room, dining room and family room. Getting closer.
We used to camp near here, so it was an easy decision. The commute to our respective jobs was the only limitation. Well that and the possibility of no high speed Internet. Luckily, we have Internet here, and both of us are working remote.
