Welcome to Blue Ridge Mountain Homestead! We recently escaped city life and returned to our roots in the country. We bought a 2 1/2 acre homestead in the heart of the Blue Ridge. Join us on our journey as we setup our homestead and move toward a more self sustainable lifestyle.
It’s so beautiful where you live! I live 15 minutes away from the beach, 25 minutes away from Disneyland, 1 hour away from Big Bear and 20ish minutes away from downtown Los Angeles…I can see myself living anywhere else 🥰 but I love seeing your beautiful countryside!
Hi!!! That was super Kool!!! We saw it really good in Northeast OHIO. The Cleveland OHIO area had a great view. It was very dark here...WoW!!! It was exciting!!!... Too bad you didnt have glasses...it was a beautiful sight to see!!!...I liked your video...🦋
Hi Amy & Eric!!! The soil looked good to me. Hope the plants thrive. The one plant with the cucumber and squash really was planted wrong. Not by you Eric but buy...Lowes... What's wrong with Lowes??? These just may turn out OK. Good job Eric!!!...Nice Video!!!...🦋
Hi!!! Good thing Eric has some muscles. It's so...hard trying to do things around my yard without my dear husband ♡. Really it's impossible...Anyways the raised beds look wonderful!!!Can't wait to watch your gardens grow...Great Video my friends!!!...🦋
Hey DiDi. Thank you for watching. We certainly appreciate it. I'm playing catch up with some of last year's footage and need to get planting started for this year. So hopefully we'll try not to confuse people with greenery when it's still drab looking out here right now. I need to do some exercises because that stuff is heavy and is beating me up. So we'll get the footage up showing what happened with the planting Farmer A-Boo needs to finish the editing and get up. Then we have last year's summer long drought that messed things up, then the rains that saved us. then winter. then now spring. Too much fun here. Hope you are enjoying this 'pre-Spring' weather! Take care!!!
Hi Eric!!! I bought some loppers like that also. I needed to get some stuff out that I just couldn't pull out. Your doing a good job back there. It's good to have a man that knows how to do things. Theses guys now a days do not know how to do anything. My dear husband ♡ knew how to do everything... Looking forward to see what your going to do back there!!!Nice Video!!!...🦋
Hi DiDi. Thanks for watching. I love these loppers. Glad you can cut what you can pull out. Well, I'm sorry to hear about your dear husband. I don't know everything, but I am fearless enough to get myself into trouble. LOL. We had some fun buying stuff at Lowes and making a mess. So that will be next.
Hi Amy & Eric!!! That was very interesting how you layed that weed blocker down. I never knew what them Ghetto-Palms were called. I have some around my place and am always chopping them. Good thing Eric is strong. I could never lift them bags of mulch. It's going to look nice once your done. You can sit on the porch and admire the gardens!!! Good job so far my friends. Great Video!!!...🦋
Hello DiDi. Thanks for watching. Yeah, the next video will be me having fun removing a few small Getto Palms. I'm saving the big one for this summer/fall so I can kill it properly before cutting it down. I think I have a humongous one along the property line. That will be evil to deal with.
Better pray that valve doesn't blow off you'll be in deep sit problem with most plumbers is shut off valves are so tight to wall you cant cut it,then your cutting open walls cabinets etc extending pipe
Design by plumbers because they make a ton of money having you call them back because you can't take the connector off or you need to replace the valve
Thanks for watching. Some shots were close as I had to get under so you could see anything. But the kit matched the holes so it wasn't too hard to figure out. Next time I'll use a tripod to help out.
Sound advice. Works good when dealing with any metal frame to avoid accidents. I just didn't think much of that since this is mostly plastic. Biggest warning is to do this on a surface that you don't mind getting rust stains on, like gravel, grass or dirt.
Hello could you please help me, I have a push pull valve, can we still install the t connector that goes to the hot water sink faucet ? Your help is greatly appreciated
I would think if your push/pull valve is still operational that you can still use it. Many people hate them and want to get rid of it due to reliability issues. I only ditched mine because I didn't like the crimped dishwasher water supply line.
Those are total garbage, very hard to open and close the "valve", run the risk of breaking plastic water pipe when trying to close the valve. I prefer ball valves.
