The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League star was pulled aside by the Transport Security Administration for a pat-down while going through airport security at LAX......But here's what makes it even more interesting for those eagle eyed enough to catch the irony...
While Ben was getting his bits felt up like a physical, Actor Damien Lewis who played terrorist traitor Nicholas Brody for three seasons on the hit series Homeland breezed through security with no problems......So a superhero gets frisked and a terrorist doesn't.....Just saying

Why have metal detectors if you will still be body searched ? I don't think Ben is so stupid that he will wear any kind of metal through the detector to force a body search. Thank God I don't have to travel because I think the TSA is solely responsible for deterring many from using airports. Also, why have such young TSA employees at LAX that may not recognize that people like Ben are famous and don't pose a threat ?

What’s sad is TSA has a high Suicide rate. Thanks to passengers constant insults. Work related issues. And constant threat of being fired because someone had a bad day and complained. They are exposed to inconsiderate travelers who have constantly passed on COVID to them. If the government shuts down. They do not get paid. They are now being paid untaxed with isn’t helpful what so ever. And people wonder why they look upset. There’s good officers and bad. But people should know that most are honestly trying to protect the traveling public.

I got a patdown like that last time I flew out of San Diego. I was wearing a polo with an undershirt and I had my undershirt tucked in the back. When I went through they showed me the screen and it was all "red" around my butt area so they thought I was carrying something and all I had was a backpack on me. So they asked if I wanted to go somewhere private, but knowing I didn't have anything on me I told them that they could do it there. It was thorough alright. just took 30 seconds though a little uncomfortable lol

Mr. Affleck "opted out" from what I can see in this video. He chose to be patted down rather than pass through either the metal detector OR the AIT machine, which is his right along with everyone else's. Also, he appeared to have been an absolute class act through the entire process.

Jared Pelletier I was just wondering what kind of risk assessment the TSA does when deciding to subject someone to such a search. I suspect that Ben Affleck is a low risk to commit any terrorist acts.

Same. There is always a profound sadness and pain in his eyes and the way he carries himself, especially in the recent years. Idk him personally, and people always judge celebrities so harshly but to me, it seems like he's been through a lot and it's hard to witness. I hope he gets better.

He opted out of the body X-ray scanner which is why the TSA agent said “Male opt-out” in the beginning. If you do not want to go through the body scanner at the airports tell the TSA agent you would like to “Opt-Out” and they will give you the same exact pat down.

even indian actors all should not get vip treatment in airport but instead they all should be treated as normal person in natural life and in airports while travelling .then only thier ego and head strong will go off.!!!!
