It’s unfortunate we never got to see a full flight nadal in 2009. Injury sidelined him for almost 2nd half of the year and same with 2012. He could have easily collected 3-4 slams. Much of his prime years is riddled with injuries. It’s a miracle that he made such a strong comebacks. This would be his 4th major comeback from a major injury.

And most of these shots were from his peak years and it’s unfortunate not to see him in full flight in 2009 and 2012 and partially in 2014. He is no longer the same. He was a beast back then. He very could have Collected another 4-5 slams. Ifs and buts won’t count though. Just my 2 cents

Always thought Rafa's running forehand DTL was something that'll never be seen again. But this tops it. His ability on angles from miles behind/outside the court is simply unreal!

On the backhand i think yes, especially for Nadal who is naturally right handed, he can really use his right wrist to creat sharper angles and pace on the backhand.
