You know you're a Federer fanataic when you can correctly identify each and every tournament covered in this clip just based on Roger's apparels. What a legendary collection of some of the more obscure shots. Even though I'm slowly getting accustomed to life in absence of Roger's active presence on tour, this video is a Stark reminder of the deep loss each and everyone of us would feel when he eventually retires for good. No other sports person can match the adoration of fans like Fed. He's hardly played this year whereas Novak has won 3 slams and broken the record of most weeks as No 1 player yet Fed wins the ATP fans favourite player award yet again...for the 19th consecutive year. Absolutely unbelievable. I doubt if we'll see any other tennis player like Fed for a long long time.

Without doubt, Federer is the most talented, beautiful, vesatile player ever to play tennis. Variety of shots he plays, is far more than combined of Nadal or Novak. His volley , stop volley, backend, forehand and dropshots are very pleasing to watch. To play for 20 over yrs with very high consistency is simply amazing. And above all, he is very humble, down to earth always easy going with his fans and media. We hardly read or hear ppl say bad things abt him. It is astonoshing to know that he has never retired half way in 1500 plus matches he has played. This shows how much he loves Tennis.. No other player has this effect on public past 50 yrs plus. No wonder he gets so much love, respect and attention from Reporters, players and public.. Even if Novak wins 25 Slams, he can never match talent, skill, charishma, elegance and popularity of Federer. Novak may go down as Goat but Federer is Lion ( king who rules)..👌🏻👌🏻..

Yes I noticed while watching him play live that he just has to get his racquet to the ball and no matter , whether its a low ball , high ball, volley , half volley , you name it and he can get the ball back where he wants. Incredible ball control !

I have seen some of these matches that the shots are from - but not all of them. PS - This is another video for all the Djokovic fans who like to claim Roger wasn't as good defensively as Novak. Roger was the best defensive player in his prime as well as the best offensive. And he did while NOT sliding on every point AND playing a single-handed backhand. "Take a bow, Mr. Federer."

Records are not Everything. Novak may b most consistent player past 5 to 6 yrs, agree .no denying that. But he is boring to watch, he fake his injuries, throw his racket regularly although he is s fully matured, he opted out of mixed double in olympics in aug 2021..that was very selfish act.. just bcos he lost in singles. Now, he hide his vaccination status, for which he may not b allowed to play in Australian open 2022. Very weired charcacter he is..for all these reasons, many ppl dont like him and he cant b role model for youngsters. Also, he never won Stefen Edberg sportsman award which Federer has won 12 times..in terms of class, elegance, various shot selection, on/off court behaviour etc Feferer is always miles ahead than any other tennis player in history of Tennis.. one more reason Novak has been constantly winning bcos other players are not up to the mark and also court speed has become much more slower compare to 15 yrs ago. If Novak had played on faster court of wimbledon say 1990, he would hav lost very badly...at the most Novak will b most successful player ever..even if he wins 25 slams, he will never have class, grace, elegance and popularity of Federer.
