Even if you have an Xbox (Series S or x) just continue to play them on PC 😋 Because one way or another they eventually make their way to PC via port or emulation. (Regardless of recent emulation news)
Agree, as sticking an original 360 disc into a Series X is no guarantee it'll work. I tested several of these original discs in my X and NONE of them would play. Emulation for the win.
Perfect! I'll have been married for 25 years in two days from now. I think, if you asked the missus, she would tell you that the toddler-level presentation style matches the toddler brain that created it. 🤣 She has said for years that "growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional." I think she's on to something.
Words cannot express my gratitude for all your videos, links & guides. Thank you for all the time and effort put into making these videos. They are what I've needed for years. And these step by step guides have a 100% success rate.
Nice! I often think Linux doesn't get the love it deserves. I saw recently that it now has a 4% share of OS usage. That's up quite a bit, I think. Nice!
I went through the process, but when I insert the flash drive back to my computer, only a text flie appears, but when I go to properties, I can see, how many storage is used
You probably have the default windows setting that hides common extensions. So you addes txt and it got hidden. You could edit the file, but now you dont see the txt because it is there but windows hides it. You need to change the hide common file extensions setting to see it. But when renaming, it should already show the extension that is otherwise hidden
I can start a game, but I want to play the game with mouse and keyboard instead of a controller. How can I change it? If it is not possible to use mouse + keyboard, how can I use my Logitech controller? I don't want to buy a XBox controller.
I think each controller has its own way of connecting. I can't remember for sure, but maybe look for a listing called either "Direct Input" or "D-Input". It's kind of a catch all for controllers. Might help you get that Logitech controller up and running with Xenia.
Hi, i have a question i wanna mod my ps5 but i have spiderman 2 and its digital code i downloaded it if i mod my ps5 to install retroarch on it is the game just gonna lock cause i dont wanna pay 90$ for a game
xenia emulator system requirements Recommended: OS: Windows 10+ x64. CPU: 4th generation or later i5/i7 64-bit x86 processor. GPU: GTX 980 Ti or later. RAM: 6GB or more.
Tell me how do I get achievements on my Xbox account if I play 360 games by emulation? The same for PS3 how do I get trophies on my PlayStation account all I see is my account getting banned if Microsoft or Sony catches me playing these games for free
Well, it's not really about playing games for free. You'll need to legally own the games to use this emulator. It's written into their guidelines and is in the core of the development team's DNA.
I know what you mean. That whole situation is unfortunate. I'm sure emulation in those areas will carry on in the future in ways that aren't geared around the same financial model that was previously used.
there is achievements with both xenia and rpcs3, but online is not enabled for that for obvious reasons. you can play online with people on rpcs3 though. check online which games support the online play. currently warhawk is playable and motorstorm etc.
@blainelocklair the great blaine! Doesn't own a steam deck lol. It's got the same power as a ps4 to be fair. I will have to try it and let u know pal 😁
It sounds like your file extensions are not displaying correctly. Make sure that file extensions are visible in your file explorer settings. On Windows, you can do this by opening File Explorer, clicking on the 'View' tab, and then checking the box that says 'File name extensions'. Once you can see the extensions, you should be able to change the extension back to .toml by renaming the file directly. If you're still having trouble, try renaming the file using the command prompt.
I almost glossed over this, but there's something important to say. Emulation is legal. Legal, so long as the emulator doesn't use proprietary code from the original source, such as what happened with the Steam version of Dolphin that used some of Nintendo's original source. Nothing to be banned, as it's legal and has been for decades.
Yes! With HFW and Hen. You can find a lot of tutorials from RU-vid, the lastest HFW version is the 4.90. Just make sure you didn't update your ps3 to 4.91 Oficial Firmware since there is not a HFW 4.91 version yet, otherwise you will not be abre to install it.
There is another one called CFW but that it's only compatible with specific Ps3 models, that's why I recommend you try HFW which can be installed in any model.
With the 3000 models, you can install PS3HEN, which is a form of hybrid firmware rather than straight up custom firmware (jailbreak). I'll have new guides on it ASAP for the 4.91 official firmware.
