Well...yes.....I "tear up" every time I watch these girls....I'm 67, and there's something weird about Band Maid....my tears are those of pride....although I've never met them, I feel so proud for them and their accomplishments....through dedication, sacrifice and perseverance they've done what very few have managed.....they've turned a "pigeons" dream, into reality...."po".....nice work man...thanks
61 here. Same exact precise identical reaction you get. I love them, I'm proud of them, they are dear to me, they make me cry, they make me happy. And yes, thank you ladies.
Dispite the cost (which I truly shouldn't of done financially)..I had to be at this concert..(flying from Scotland via Finland)....For my own sanity if nothing else...It was something else...The MAID's for me are truly special..Long May They Reign!👑
In the past, when talking about endless Story, KANAMI, the lead guitarist and composer of the song, said, "This song can only be completed when all the audience (Masters and Princesses) join with the "WO-WO" chorus in the live venue."
I have never seen a band so invested into their fans the way that Band Maid is. During the pandemic, they were more worried about the fans and wrote basically a love letter to all of us talking about how they can't wait to see us in person again. Then after their crazy US tour in 2022, they wrote a song while on tour to thank the US fans. I got to seem them during that tour and I just broke down after hearing that song. They make it seem so personal. They also played this song at the end of their US tour and there is a video of Akane crying during it. It was just so sweet to see!
We are so used for music stars to treat us like trash and nuance. These girls really shown us how much they appreciate every single one of us Madiacs and how much they cherished every moment on stage. That's why their fan base are so engaged and dedicated.
You have officially been anointed as a Maidiac. Welcome. Chills and tears are the Maid Magic we have all experienced. No matter how many times I hear this…waterworks
Saiki Atsumi's finest moments. I've never seen her so full of emotion, revealing it all. And the other band members - beautiful people - give her central stage to shine in her deep-felt interplay with the audience. Band-Maid: more than (exceptional) musicianship.
Yes. It is hard not to tear up a bit if you are a BAND-MAID fan. The sincerity emanating from Saiki and the ladies when performing this song as their sign-off to a memorable moment is moving. Thank you, BAND-MAID, for bringing music back to the forefront for me and for never giving up on your music especially when the odds were against you. I am your devoted fan for the rest of my life.
I already watched this about 10-12 times and every time I watch this amazing performance I cry, nothing I can do with that! BAND MAID is phenomenal band! Love this band more than any other band! Madiak for life!!!
I've watched this video every day since its release and I am in tears every time. I can not explain it. the lyrics are so moving. Miku wrote these lyrics years ago to create this exact moment.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う。I was there in Yokohama with tears of joy and saddness to say good-bye to the girls. The moving finale of the 3-hour-40-minute long show. (33 songs) A little off topic. I went to see Band-Maid's ACOUSTIC concert held in Shibuya two days ago. All of 14 songs performed there were amazing. The finale of the show "Daydreaming" was especially breathtaking for me. In addition to the beautiful singing, kudos to FIVE instrumental players ! (Saiki on piano)
I cry every time I hear this. 71 yrs. old and I am balling like a kid. How lucky are we to have this band? They bring us so much and always it is their best. I saw them in concert last summer and When it was over I couldn't believe it had stopped. I wanted it to just go on and on. We all need this song, but what other band would give us this song? Only Band Maid. Thank you Ladies. Great reaction by the way! Keep them coming, especially more Band Maid!
The Maids have, over the years, written 4 songs dedicated to the fans. They are " About Us, " " Memorable, " " Smile, " and this one !! It's definitely one of the reasons this band is so enduring. 😏♥️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘
At the last part of the song, all of emotion came from them. As Saiki said "Thank you" many times, we also want to tell her "We also thank you all". What a great band they are!
This show was just incredible. They make me cry pretty often with songs like Smile, Sayonakidori, and Endless Story, just to name a few. Sooo freakin' awesome.
Watch the video again. If you look closely at each of the band members, they are struggling to stop the tears from flowing. Even the stoic Barefoot Assassin is having a difficult time holding it in. No other band can make grown men cry, and no other band on the planet gives so much love and hope to their fans.
Okay, great music, fantastic performers and musicians, all of it yes. But the love they have for the fans and how they show it by making that music and being so honest with their emotions. That is why we love them so much, can't beat them.
That's must be his intellectual highlight. Sorry, don't like the guy. Since his old ass pretended to play Kanami's guitar solo on "Onset". Flawlessly, just like the original. Brrr.
@@laughingbuddha2948 Uhh, when was that? I know he did a cover with a couple others and watched it back and never said anything like that in the video. All I know is of all the videos I've seen, he's never come off as egotistical and he definitely has nothing but the purest of love and admiration for Band-Maid.
The Warning are playing in Japan June 12 with Band-Maid at a super nice indoor high tech auditorium called Ex Theater Roppongi, so the lighting and sound is going to be excellent. I think the Band Maid audience is going to love The Warning!.
Crying..YES! Waterworks were definitely flowing at the show, me along with thousands of other Masters and Princesses. I've shed a few tears to this song over the many live shows live been to, but this one....WOW, WOW, WOW! The emotional energy was through the roof! Sugoi! PO!!!🕊 WORLD DOMINATION!!!🤘😆🤘
This song is one of my absolute favorites. I only wish they had mics pointed at the crowd so they could put them into the audio mix. I've seen them live twice. Both times they played this and it was one of my favorite moments. The crowd singing together with the maids. It was magical. Also, that first show Akane was crying as well. I know this song can always catch me off guard with a flood of emotions.
Anthem it is, Po! Was there (with nearly 10K others) and this was song 33 of 33 (3.5 hours), and😭every time, Po! They are always serving their World wide fan base. This song just premiered an hour after their Acoustic show (14 song) finished at Line Cube Shibuya, Po! PS, this is the last of the 4 song MV teaser leading up to the Bluray/DVD release on Mar 27, 2024.🦍🍌
You missed their nicknames. MISA, the barefoot assassin on bass. Akane the Gorilla on drums. Miku, the small pidgin on rythem and backing vocals. Kanami, The Riff Goddess on lead and Saiki, The Ice Queen on vocals.
Can you imagine , what they were feeling on stage , the last show of your 10th anniversary tour a 3.5 hrs show , the last song of 33 and the 8,000 in attendance singing to you and with you , they held it together like the Amazing band and very special Ladies they are , and yes the tears were rolling .
Been listening to bandmaid since 2018. They've been a part of my life since. Their music kept me awake during long rides. This song is gave me goosebumps.
"One of the girls" wasn't a member of this band, she was a friend of Saiki, just in case anyone misunderstood what you commented on the lyrics of "HATE?"😏
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAIDS!!! I cried, they all deserve it so much, they've worked so hard and been such an inspiration. I needed to hear this today, i really did. God bless you Band Maid 🙏
