The Unicorn should be seen as a symbol, it has several meanings and things to say. For me she is number one. A completely unique musical style, from a professional point of view, the different musical styles were perfectly bridged with the bridges, the musical lyrics have at least 3 types of messages (business, feminist, historical and present of Israel). It is a brilliant work both musically and lyrically. Noa Kirel's beauty, her performance, her dancing are even more of a bonus to this performance. Congratulations and good luck Israel!

Unicron reference can be made both on the personal empowerment level, but also as a representation of Israel a nation. Funny enough many people dismiss this song as a generic pop song and ridicule the lyrics. However they mean more than what you would hear at first listen. Noa Kirel is not afraid to make a statement. When Kanye West was putting out antisemitic rhetoric in the media, Noa wore his face printed on her clothes to the MTV awards. She is very brave, and we are proud she is representing the country in Europe :)
Yea, the lyrics rang very meaningful. The Song itself has that "generic pop" sound/vibe, but if you listen it's much more than that. I will have to check out more of her stuff, she has a wonderful voice.

The way they do it is, instead of submitting songs only, they submit them with a music video. (Has been like that for years). Nevertheless, the main focus of this contest is the song itself and its performance on live stage.
