I want to go! I live in Oregon though and unfortunately battle some chronic diseases as well as am a single mom and sole provider. So finances are very slim and scarce, especially at the time being while my doctors and specialists are trying to figure out what else may be going on other than my current diagnoses. It's been pretty frightening, to say the very least. Up until the recent years when I've become so sick, I was relatively successful and have always worked and volunteered for the community and gave back at any time possible. It's my joy and passion to help others. My daughter who just turned 15 is has been helping out a family by cooking them homemade meals as their dad isn't in their lives and their mom, well... she essentially abandoned them. The girls are just a little younger than she is and they do have an older brother who "helps look after them", but in reality, they really are on their own. And regardless of our own current struggles, it's the least we can do to help them. Interestingly enough, we've lived next to and have known this family and these girls for a few years now and these girl, sadly, have always bullied and been very mean to my daughter causing her to cry quite often when she had only ever just wanted to be their friend. Eventually she gave up and realized her worth and moved on with life. After a year or so of not speaking to them, one of the girls and her started going to school together (my daughter went to a different school until now), and they reconnected in which is how she found out about their current situation and started cooking and delivering a few meals to them a couple times weekly. 💓 It honestly warms my heart so much to see that even though regardless of how awful and cruel some people/kids can be (they even egged our house some years ago), my daughter never let that define her or anger her so much that she would never forgive them. She not only forgave them, but she is feeding them as well as helping them with other things that they may need in which she may have that she doesn't need or use anymore. Or if she has saved up money, she'll use it on them (or others) to help fulfill their needs. This is how I wanted to raise my baby. How I prayed to raise my baby. Since she was 7 months old, her very first thanksgiving (she was born on Easter by the way- a true miracle story at that!), our church decided for thanksgiving, we'd all dress up in suits and ties, set up our church like a nice restaurant, and invite the community, especially the homeless, less fortunate, vets, etc. to join us where we would happily serve them a wonderful thanksgiving meal. That year we started a tradition. It's been so wonderful! Since then, we'd do a similar thing for Christmas. Over the years we have done countless community outreach activities and I have my degree in Behavioral Psychology Counseling and social work as well as have been a hospice/end of life nurse for many years. It's broken my heart that these last few years, with my current diagnoses and having to start chemotherapy indefinitely has taken such a dramatic toll on my own life and health. It's been absolutely brutal. Most days I simply just don't feel all that great. I'm so tired of these same 4 walls. I wish more than anything I could get back to normal life. And I also wish I could take my kiddo on a little vacation and to see this amazing exhibit! 😍 One day I hope. We did have a savings for a vacation, but when my health took a turn for the worst and I couldn't work anymore, we've had to turn our vacation funds into our emergency funds. And now, that's nearly out. I'm still waiting on disability approval, please lord let that be approved soon! I'm just so scared. Of course my kiddo doesn't need to know or stress about that. I also like to stay as positive as I can be around her to prevent worry. I haven't and will never lose my faith in God. He has his plan. ALL will work out. My daughter is going on her 2nd missions trip with our church in a few weeks and I'm so excited for her! I'm so blessed and thankful that she has been given this opportunity! Thank you for this video! I'm happy to see it and really wish we could be going as was once planned.

It was a great experience as is the companion Creation Museum 40 miles away. My son took his 4 young children and said the Ark was great for them because all of the visual displays. This was better than Creation museum for little kids
