As silly as this sounds.. I’m excited for this season. I want to see what the young guys have. I’m expecting a very bad year.. see who to keep and who to trade and bank more draft picks.
Defensively Ziaire Williams is looking good on the court🔒. But offensively he needs to enhance his game more and especially work on his 3 point scoring 😮. Wilson has been doing well and his offensive rebounding is an underrated part of his game. Noah Clowney has gotten better defensively 💪 but definitely can work on his 3 point shot more as well. Overall all 3 od these guys are crucial to Brooklyn's future 🙏....
As we get more chemistry the defense should be lock in. Zaire was everywhere. I loved how he interrupted passing lanes and picked up defense at 3/4 court. Shake milton had a nice 8-10 foot jumper and shouldering off opponents. Last but not least, the pre big 3 culture is coming back!!!! I'll be at the game tonight against the sixers (solo) 😎. Pray for me 🤣
I forgot to comment on that wizards game clearly the Nets are not bad enough because those wizards wow. The worst thing that could happen at the end of the season is that Mark fails to get a top three pick for the nets and that he actually has too many veterans on this team that are looking for new contracts that is a recipe for a tank disaster. Cam Thomas looking for a big contract, Simmons looking for a big contract, DFS to a certain extent is looking to expand his market so that he doesn’t have to opt into his contract and get a longer deal, and Then Dennis also is looking for another contract. So as long as those guys are healthy, they’re gonna be looking to win. Now I’m not saying that these guys are needle movers in terms of the nets making the playoffs or not, but it’s still would be pretty damaging to the nets rebuild. If these players prevent the nets from getting a top three pick in the draft are being put in a position to get a top three pick in the draft and end up with the number seven pick that would be, horrible .
