This song reminds me of a dear friend of mine who was an addict. He was very lost and he overdosed. Luckily, he was saved by the hospital. Got a lot of treatment and he told me that while he was "dead" Jesus spoke to him and told him he was going to be okay. He got help and is doing very well.

Wow that's beautiful! Jesus loves us all so much, I'm so happy to hear that your friend survived, and that Jesus manifested himself to him before it was too late. Once you believe on him for forgiveness of past/present/future sins, you're heaven bound and will have eternal life. He, God himself paid for our entry to heaven because we can't. We only have chances to while alive according to the bible. You or anyone reading this, if you're afraid and have no idea why 2020 is so crazy, the bible foretold all this 2020 craziness, and what lies ahead(It's not good). But believe on Jesus for salvation and you'll be alright don't worry :) If I didn't have him, I would be so scared right now. But I have peace because I know that Im loved by the perfect Father and will be cared for. Thanks for sharing this story❤ I'm encouraged

So only one view of Christianity is true.. which one? The one that agrees with what the bible says, since their Christian view should be based on this source (the bible) as well. And I can tell you with full certainty; the bible makes it clear that God detests this kind of music and certainly the movement behind it. God's written word is very clear on that.

As a person of Faith i think this song is absolutely gorgeous❤️ Reading the lyrics was medicinal, it speaks to the chaos of the world we live in, it can be overwhelming. From my own understanding, this song is about the continuous drug abuse that people go through to find some sense of love, healing and comfort not knowing that God is the only One capable of giving them all that. This song tells you that everything is gonna be okay, God will still be there for you because he loves you no matter what. He cares for you and he is the only one that can heal you and save you.

when you say "drug abuse" .... its not the drugs that are abused... but the user who is being abused by the the drugs. This song made me cry and after having a hard time finding my way back to Jesus, It feels good to know that people are starting to use their music to touch people’s hearts and expose them to the Son. Like Mr. Rogers... what legacy do you want to leave behind and what do you want to be remembered for. Me. Rogers wasn’t trying to do anything, but in living his life, he became an inspiration to see the good in everything. Thank you Noah and the Cyrus family for putting a song about Jesus out there for people to cling to and relate to.

I live in Louisiana so Deep South vibes are a little different from the Appalachian states but it definitely makes me feel proud and blessed that I grew up on a ranch... and makes me want to wear my cowboy boots more often. i interpreted this song in a couple ways. 1. that she O.D and saw Jesus, he’s trying to help her and 2. that she got so high in her faith that she saw Jesus. it could be that she really did get so high on drugs she saw Jesus but that’s how i see it. love you noah💗

She said on Miley's show that it was about the state our world is in, in the regards to the environmental issues we are dealing with.
