You mentionned you got wrong speed displayed because angle is wrong. I'm having the same kind of issue plus speed displays 0km/h (i'm in France) when I coast... I'm in touch with the seller to try solving this
Nico D, You have the same display. What motor and controller are you running. The cable that they sent with the EM150SP/2 that I am using, was incorrect compared to the schematic. They confirmed the different wiring and put it into there sales info. They sent me the manual on this display, and gave me the name and part number of the tool to program the Display. It is just a can bus tool that allows you to go in and modify certain memory locations for KPH and MPH and wheel diameter, since I believe they use the motor hall sensor for a pulse and the standard gear ratio + the wheel diameter to give the speed. Contact me thru Electricdirtriders.com and start a private conversation so I can send pictures and manual numbers etc. Donald Cox
Yes I do run all the current thru the switch. I have done this on all the bikes I have built. I put a 1K 10W resistor across the contacts to prevent arcing. The switches are rated at 1250 Amps and 48V. They have worked fine in all the bikes I have used them at 72V (84V peak). No contactors.
