I just love this young man's story his voice especially but I just love everything about all of this! #Noahthompson is what American Idol is about from a 20 year old kid from a holler in Kentucky with an amazing voice and pure raw talent- to his buddy Arthur signing him up to - being a young father working construction to support his family... Nobody in Hollywood could have wrote a better screenplay! Prayers 🙏

I agree... not only that, his parents got divorced and basically raised by his grandmother. His family is basically grandma, girlfriend, co-workers and best friend Arthur... and all of them see something special on him except Noah. And now, he is destined to be the American Idol I am sure of that... what an epic story.

Noah set-up to loose. *****. A great country singer and he’ll be singing with a 60 year old rock and roll singer Melissa E. While Leah will sing with Katy and Luke with Huntergirl. If you don’t think this is a total set-up for Noah to loose think again. Why are Katy and Luke singing? Will people vote for them? This makes me sick. Never ever thought they’d stup so low. Noah’s voice and Melissa’s gravelly voicecomplimented each other beautifully. This was set up for him to win not lose. His music coaches were geniuses on this choice.

I am so glad he won. He proved me wrong. He can sing with anyone. I saw him today on what morning show I forgot already but he said he use to sing rock and roll but crossed over to country within the past year. And he grew up listening to Lionel’s songs because his grandma liked him. This guy can sing anything and with all the people behind him his self confidence will only grow. I believe he’ll always be humble, as he should. So happy for him. They are flying him around on a private jet. He couldn’t believe it. Just think of every new thing that has happened to him in just a few months. It’s got to be overwhelming. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️🥳

I just feel touched to see him speechless, looking stunned and disoriented when he heard his name as the winner... Ryan has to check on his mental state because he isn't moving and speechless... actually this is one the most cherish winning reaction I ever seen in American Idol...
