To answer Mike's question, Diageo has a distribution facility in Illinois that a lot of products move through. For instance, Dickel Bottled in Bond is distilled and aged in Tennessee but bottled in Illinois.

I can find noble oak rye for 25$ and it is the best bang for the buck i always keep one at my house.

I've always been a bit reluctant to buy this one. Your review has me considering it now. The Noble Oak bourbon was surprisingly decent as well.

I can say the same thing as a big fan of double oaked bourbon and honestly the reason why is because I perceived it as probably inferior due to the cost, I had the same initial thought about Jim Beam double oaked. Maybe this is just what whiskey should truly cost and everything else is just overpriced? I don't know, but that skepticism comes from somewhere.

@@BigBadJerryRogers I am not sure where you were going here… but I think it not only is inexpensive…. It is solid… and will take down some higher priced whiskeys in a blind

@@lesscashmoremash Yes that was my point, sorry if it didn't come off right, I was saying that like the first person here I have held off on buying noble oak double oaked bourbon even though I have seen it sitting there for its low price for a typical finished whiskey only because I assumed it was probably going to be disappointing. We're used to thinking a finished whiskey can't be worth it and that cheap.
