Was shocked AND pleased to see Halloween-Don’t Metal With Evil on the wall! Still have mine from when I bought it in '85. They were HUGE in Detroit back around that time. It was also the first local band record I bought. Very cool to see that record in another part of the country!
nice record store, i can't believe you have alter bridge 3 on vinyl, this album is a killer, myles kennedy singing is insane, tremontis guitar is amazing
Man..... I’d have to spend days in there. LOVE the stuff on the wall from the metal collection to the clock to the Cramps pic. Someday I would like to live on the sofa there
Someday I will/must visit all the way from Southern California. It looks like a great store I really like “The Holy Moly Wall” see you in the near future..☮️✌️☮️
I'm going up to highpoint, NC for the jazz festival later this year, mainly to see Kingfish Ingram. I'll stop by the store and pick up a few records on the trip. Love your channel!
Wow...this is Fantastic...sooo wish i could pop by but the buses arnt too reliable from here in the UK 🤣 Seriously my friend you have a fantastic looking shop there..All your hardwork is evident to see...Massive Respect to ya from the UK 👍👍👍
I am so glad don't live in your town. I have copy of the Milton Glaser/Bob Dylan/ from an early 80s reissue. Love it so much. What about Planet Waaves makes it so special/whoa?! Thanks for what you do. I learn something new everytime I watch and thank you for not being a snob. Your enthusiasm to share your knowledge is palpable and infectious. You ever thought of doing a record collecting guide? I know i’d buy that book. Thanks
I like how spacious it is. All the record stores I frequent range from cramped to how can anyone move in here. Most of the time, if someone is looking through a rack, and you want to look at something on the other side of him/her, you have to go around through the next aisle. If its busy, and someone is in every aisle, good luck. If I am ever in the area, I will have to check it out. That is, of course, if crossing the Canada/US border ever becomes normal again.
That cover from ABBA Voulez-Vous is actually one of my favourite album covers: because one of the guys is holding the biggest light-sabre in the world. You can't even see the ends, they're off the page, lol. It always makes me laugh.
I was lucky enough to catch Sturgill on that tour in Alabama before it was cancelled. Great show for a great album! Great shop, hope to visit one day. I run a shop in Carrollton Ga called The Vinyl Frontier so you know I'm a sucker for walking through some record stores.
Excellent Gun Club lp! GC concerts, in tiny, smoky, boozy clubs, were a dark, loud, primitive religious experience. Best shows I ever saw. Good to see the lps are still out there.
Your selection looks great. Wish I lived near by. I saw something in there that would lure me in. A place to sit down. I am handi-cap. I can walk and stand, but only a short amount of time. Then pain sits in. Your furniture would get me in. Where I live none in the stores. Their is a large store, nut hurts to much. If they had even a bench in their, I could spend more. So, having a place to sit is important.
The Cramps poster also came in a silk screened limited edition of 500 numbered copies signed by the artist. It also omits the 'Songs The .....' graphics. I traded a Toots and The Maytals Live Pre-Release copy for it. One of my better trades. LOL.
Oh man, I wish we had something like that where I live here in Germany! I’m sure there are some cool record stores in like Berlin or Hamburg, but not where I’m located. It’s awesome you also sell used gear! Great shop!! Oh & that MORE album @ 7:49 sooo good!! And that Ozzy Bark at the Moon poster 😮😮😮🤩
Love the tour. I feel special as I come visit your shop every few weeks. I might swing by tomorrow and bring a few records, and one I am sure you can put on the holy moly wall.
What an incredibly clean and organized store! not to mention you carry so much that I rarely see here in NY record stores. I would love to visit one day. I gather you don't ship. If you can point me in the right direction to find that misfits album - please do. Great video!
@@noblerecords Have you heard Hansson & Karlsson or Made in Sweden? Both of them are great swedish bands from the 60s. You should also check out a band called International Harvester. I really recommend getting all of them on vinyl!
Your record store is really cool! I encourage anyone who is a vinyl record collector to shop at indie record stores in their area/hometown. I have 4 really cool indie record stores that I buy my vinyl records at. Your art work and posters are great! As for the Brown Acid records, I recently was introduced to them. I bought both The First and Second Trips. I really enjoy listening to them! I hope that your business continues to grow and thrive! Keep spinning the vinyl records!
The Bob Dylan...Psychedelic Hair poster. That...is what I want. Wonder how much he wants for it? I would love to have that hanging in my man cave/garage.
I’m coming ! Trust me , I’m coming. Someday , long time/short time depending on covid , I’m gonna walk through that door and say ” I told you I was coming”. All the way from Sweden. (got a US trip planned in my head for a couple of years).
Dillion great video, looks like a great store will definitely stop by if ever I’m in the Carolinas also I still have my Dylan greatest hits album and the poster many years old, thanks man👍😎
Nice video Dylan, how I'd love to visit but it's a bit of a schlep from the UK. Next time could you flick through the Metal section & at least one of the Rock sections. I know you have some great albums through your store having traded some LPs with a customer of yours.
I used to have that Sid Barret, open in shrink. The cool artwork on the cover is the best thing about that really not good album. But, the cover is great. Always meant to frame it, never did. No longer have it.
Can you post the TOP 10 or 20 sellers by category and of other genres please? Like Country, Pop, Musicals or Movies (IF they sell?), Classical, Blues, Jazz, Polka, Old School (like Lawrence Welk), box sets, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's?
Bowie in ''Classic Rock''!! Outrageous!! Reminds me of some old school vinyl shops, such a shame these days they tend to be non smoking and have a more clinical atmosphere. I'd buy that Geraldine and Ricky if around $10. Classic!
My wife and I have a 5 or 6 hour layover at Charlotte airport in July. How far are you from the airport? Would love to see if there is any way to get to your store and still make it back for our flight lol.
