I think that most people filming this type of trip would put an emphasis on the dangers all around ; Crocodiles and the possibility of hitting the rocks with the boat for the suspense and drama of it all. But once again Noraly manages to bring the viewers to appreciate the beauty and serenity that abounds all around! As always her perspective on life is most appreciated and uplifting!

I have mentioned before the uniqueness of your adventures. The fact my 7 yr old grandaughter asked me if you were talking to us, her eyes full of joy and wonder that she felt part of your experience is the precise beauty of these. It feels like facetiming a friend. ❤

Your travels always help me realise the tiny bubble of existence I live in and that in every pocket and corner of the planet there are beauties and dangers and people living, loving, farming, working, dying and the sun rises and sets on us all. As a sailor living on a motoryacht and having a sailingboat just for fun, I am scared to deat for unknown rivers. On open sea I feel fine, but a river gives me the creeps. So I admire these riverman doing their work in a pretty dangerous environment.

In one episode we get to see the locals navigate a multi-stage barge around the shallows in a fog-filled dawn, a cheese boat side adventure, a treetop iguana hunt and lunch, and an amazing sunset along the river... The boat operation as it made its way downriver with the many loading/unloading stops and tugboat piloting was a marvel to watch. The early morning mist and choppy waters had an eerie vibe like a horror movie scene just before the monster attacks. I think the guys on the boat really enjoyed Noraly LOL. She really interacted with them and didn't just stand off. The captain seem to take it on his self to watch out for her. She is a pretty bad ass girl. If she ever wants to get a job as a film maker she shouldn't have any problem. This as one of her best video yet. Which is saying something as their all good.

The Nicaraguan side seems all jungle because it is part of Indio Maíz rainforest natural reserve, which sadly has been shrinking because of deforestation, nice episode btw :)

Absolutely loved the misty sunrise on the river 🤩 We have iguanas 🦎 here in the Florida Keys and they are an invasive species so a lot of locals make Iguana Tacos 🌮 to control their exploding population. What an adventure! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Well, I boarded the vessel at 4:50am, filmed the magical mist while they navigated the early dawn's river, had Iguana for lunch on the boat on the river separating Nicaragua n Costa Rica, then drove my motorcycle through a small remote village in the dark where there r no motorized vehicles of any kind. Truly a Top Shelf Adventure, but just a typical day for Noraly !

It's incredible that she managed the river journey as a single woman traveling on a cargo boat secretly in Nicaragua and then landed in a wild foreign village with no other communication than the river. It really is like a thriller. What courage or is it cluelessness, doesn't matter. Treat others as you would like to be treated and pray to God and you will be fine.

Years ago, I was doing some geologic exploration in Venezuela. A local guide pointed out an iguana hanging in a tree. I was surprised he took so much interest in it. Then he told me, in my barely functional understanding of Spanish.. "It makes a very nice plate." He was right. Quite tasty. Am I the only person viewing this river journey who is thinking of Bogart and Hepburn in "The African Queen"? Fascinating stuff. Noraly is an international gem. We are all blessed by her.
