This is our first time watching reaction to the movie Nobody (2021). Hutch Mansell fails to defend himself or his family when two thieves break into his suburban home one night. The aftermath of the incident soon strikes a match to his long-simmering rage. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must now save his wife and son from a dangerous adversary -- and ensure that he will never be underestimated again.

I know you guys don’t do trailers very often, but I’ve got one you 100% neeeed to make an exception for. It’s a movie called The Creator, from the director of Rogue One. I hadn’t even heard about it until today, but trust me… you won’t regret it and you’ll be tip of the spear when everyone else starts posting reactions to it.

The portray of the guys is much more realistic than the fight itself, in my opinion. There are locations in my city, where you only run into these kind of guys all day. A very common thing nowadays.

28:17 Hutch's daughter literally said "Dad, we need a cat" in the scene where she came down to join him on the couch and he asked her if it was because she was scared by the burglarly and she said "Why would I be? You're here" more or less demonstrating that she was the only person (including himself) who wasn't disappointed in him.

When his daughter came down to join him was also when she lost the Kitty-Cat bracelet. He found it later on the floor right below the chouch.

I also love that the wife is awesome. Usually they are portrayed as disappointed, misunderstanding, and angry. She is the perfect complement to him. Little things elevate the film above the usual drivel.

One thing you notice on a rewatch is that Hutch is very rusty at the beginning and becomes a better fighter in each confrontation until the end when he is fully "that guy" again.

As gory as you might call this movie, the kill shot on the big bad guy always amused me for how sanitized it is. If you took a claymore at point-blank range, there wouldn't be a body, there'd just be a bloody mist and unidentifiable chunks sprayed across a couple hundred yards.

Claymores have less conventional explosives than other mines. The damage is mostly caused by the dozens of steel ball bearings that it shoots, which is pretty accurately represented.

Honestly I hope they didn’t as well as everyone else. The post credit crap is done to death just put it in the movie. I’m tired of sitting for 5 mins waiting for a 30 sec clip. It needs to stop. I really hope this trend dies out quick.

This movie was a wonderful surprise for me. I had gone into it not knowing anything at all. I was just wanting to watch a movie and I saw that it had an overall high score on rotten tomatoes so I just decided, "I guess I'll check it out." I left the theater just absolutely filled of joy and just recommending it to everyone.

This all started because he never took out the garbage. The pizza box was part of the garbage that should not have been there to block the door if he hadn't missed the garbage man repeatedly in which case the desperate inexperienced couple would probably moved on to find another house with easy access to rob. That being said, he would've eventually found any other reason to finally explode and regain what he was missing in life.

The tattoo on Hutch's wrist is of a 7 and 2 of spades. One card should technically be a club though. But this is the worst hand to have in Texas Hold 'em and is known for being worn by special forces teams as they are known to survive the worst conditions

9/10 Gimme 'Nobody 2' An absolute blast! 'Nobody' is a supremely entertaining action flick. Most of it actually feels fairly usual for a film of this sort, yet the way everything is presented is great! The pacing is perfection, the musical choices are fully on point and then you also have strong cast performances. Bob Odenkirk is of course (rightly) super acclaimed for that role as a certain lawyer elsewhere, so it's nice to see him doing other things. He is superb in this from beginning to end. Aleksei Serebryakov also gives a good performance, as also seen in television's 'McMafia'. Christopher Lloyd and RZA are fun, too. The action is top notch, especially the fight stuff, and the humour - whilst not in your face - is noteworthy as well. It all comes together to make a fantastic 90 minutes that truly fly by. Gimme 'Nobody 2'.

Fun facts that I don't often see mentioned on these reacts: 1) the hacker lady is director's wife, she also composed tne soundtrack for his other movie "Hardcore Henry" and played Katya Dominatrix in it 2) the two mooks who come to kill Hutch's dad are the director himself and his buddy "Shnur" who's a frontman of a Russian rock band "Leningrad" (he also had a cameo in "Hardcore Henry")

thank you for reacting to this I dont think this movie gets enough reactions, a few things that I learned about this was 1st either the director or writer of the first john wick movie also did this one, 2nd old Bob did his own stunts in this film, and 3rd if you look closely you can see the same tattoo hutch has on the the fathers hand was well.

Y’all mention John Wick a lot and make a lot of comparisons to John Wick. John Wick and Nobody were written by the same man, Derek Kolstad and produced by the same man, David Leitch. They have said in interviews that both movies take place in the same universe and would like to eventually have both John and Hutch share a scene in a movie at some point. Like have them just nod to each other in passing, but haven’t found a believable or realistic way to set it up as of yet.

I didn't recognize Michael Ironside - Hutch's father-in-law - when he first appeared by that voice is memorable. I love that they found a place for him, and Christopher Lloyd, in this film. "Wanna make a classic film? Get some classic actors."

It’s cool that Bob Odenkirk is getting known for all these dramatic roles now but his single greatest role is still from his sketch comedy show from the 90’s, Mr Show, where he nailed it in his portrayal of The Hated Milk Machine

Watched it last night before getting your reaction, absolutely loved it, even more than john wick! He fell ill after doing this role - he is ok but I think the working out and intense scenes really took it out of him, well impressed by his acting and stunt work on this. Loved Saul as a character on breaking bad also!

When they use to occasionally get suspicious about the motivations of certain characters, it was sort of cute and amusing. These days they seem to have gotten to the point that every word in every video uttered by any character is suspect and possibly suggesting a conspiracy. I can actually envision them reacting to a home improvement show and see them questioning, "He wants the walls painted white? What sort of code is that? What does he really mean?"

I love this movie way more than John Wick for several reasons, one is that I actually know someone who is like "nobody" hes a veteran who was in a special unit and he saw and did some disturbing stuff all for the government, and he is also always looking for an excuse to just let loose and let out some frustration, that scene where Hutch is just hoping that those guys get on the bus reminds me so much of this person, and another reason is that Unlike John Wick Nobody doesnt really feel like a supernatural killing machine I mean sure hes tough and hes survived a few times where most people wouldnt, but he still sort of feels human, and above that the movie is just super fun, other action movies start because the Main Guys daughter or wife or friend or dog got kidnapped or killed, but this Movie all kicks off cause of the Kitty Cat Bracelet.

Him going after the kitty cat bracelet is not supposed to be extreme or the last straw. His daughter is shown to be the only one that believes in him and truly loves him (others love him but like in the "we have to love you because you're family" type of way). He isn't going to let anything hurt his daughter because she is all that he has at this point.

Fun Fact: Bob Odenkirk spend two years training for this movie and don't know if you have watch BCS season 6, but you can see him more in shape in that season because of this movie.

I did what these guys do with shows they're reacting to and quit this reaction. They talk nonstop and ask questions when they're given the answers to but don't hear it because they're talking nonstop. They assumed things were going to happen then get disappointed when their assumptions don't pan out I didn't overthink the actor being Saul at all because I like everyone else knows that he's a actor from different things and started out as a standup comedian

Fun fact: the tattoo the old vet sees on him is a military tattoo for servicemen who were put into an impossible situation and still came out on top. The reason it’s those cards is because that’s basically a “impossible hand” in poker in which you have a probability of zero of coming out the winner if you play that hand instead of folding.

Since you enjoyed this movie, if you haven’t seen it already, you should consider watching R.E.D. (2010) with Bruce Willis. It’s a similar type of movie that very few reactors have watched. Another similar movie is Boss Level (2020). A lot more action and less humor.
