How come nobody is willing to react if something is or looks completely wrong. How come? We cannot seal our ears, we cannot close our eyes, is there a greater good on earth...Or we accept the dark side of this world which is becoming smaller and smaller everyday.

Medieval Piety created many Saints. The hijacked Vatian ll took it away from us and gave us nothing in return. They have turned the Church into a barren desert. That is the reason Catholics know almost nothing about God and His Catholic Church.

I thank you for your message. Really. But there are two exceptions. First, that if we are too passive we may welcome error in the Church. And second, if we are too lacking in vigilance, we may be led away from true faith. . . . If there are Judases in our midsts, do we not have to rebuke him, for the sake of his soul, and the soul of the Church?

You are wrong bro. Vigano is a bishop and has the right to call out the wolf in sheep clothing. St Paul called out St Peter. But how many souls are lost, and how many could be potentially lost because of what is taking place in the Church - and in this sense, these things are relevant to all Catholics. And what about Jesus' words about those who want to stay neutral with their heads in the sand? At the very least, we can have discernment when something directly contradicts Scripture or when a Church authority in the hierarchy makes statements that something in Scripture is "outdated" or doesn't apply in modern times, when God's Word is eternal. In those instances, if not others as well, you don't have to be a theologian, you don't have to be a member of the clergy to know that something is wrong and its all well and good to want a peaceful stress-free life in the Faith, sometimes even laymen must take a stand regardless. Yes, the Church may go on, but what about those lost or potentially lost souls resulting from "Church Politics". You said CHURCH politics, did you not? You did not say "clergy politics" or "theological politics". Who makes up the body of the Church? All believing Catholics. That means that Church politics involves all of us who make up the Church. Remember the warning about being lukewarm - "I will spew you out of my mouth". And St. Paul's letters in which he addresses what we would refer to as "Church politics", writing for those who were laymen, not just to Bishops and priests. Without getting into anything about "synodality", you could even say this involves the laity having a voice in Church politics, not just the clergy. Its good to maintain your focus on your own faith life, but you kinda make it sound like as long as I can make it to Heaven, that's what really matters. There are some things that even the laity absolutely cannot ignore. Yes, the Church will prevail. But we also have a role and responsibility as well. We have to make sure that we are well-informed and accurately informed, because anything that concerns the Church also concerns all of us in the laity, because we're part of the Church. We're also charged to share the faith for the sake of the salvation of souls, so anything involving Church politics that has the potential to put even one soul's salvation in jeopardy is most certainly a concern for the entire Church, laity and clergy alike. "I'll just focus on my own salvation" just doesn't cut it if you truly love the Lord and His Church, and please forgive me if I'm misunderstanding your words, but this is the impression that your words convey, whether or not you may realize it. I agree that we shouldn't let ourselves be stressed out and lose our minds, but we definitely need to pay attention and pray for discernment and guidance from the Holy Spirit, including what, if anything, we as laymen should be doing or not doing. When there is an issue or issues of such enormity that even Bishops and Cardinals are alarmed, and there is open talk among them about heresy, apostacy and possible schism, that's definitely by any measure important enough to sit up and take notice and at the very least pray about. Yes, we've definitely had some bad popes, even evil popes. The Church carried on and got passed those sorrowful episodes. But what damage was done? How many souls were lost? Don't forget that something that involved Church politics not only led to the East-West Schism, other issues later led to the Protestant Reformation and the disastrous consequences that arose, including centuries of open warfare between groups both calling themselves Christian, as well as perpetuating further false teachings and disunity among believers. Without going into the controversies regarding Vatican II, those Church politics led to many leaving the Church, as well as many clergy, nuns, deacons, etc. leaving their vocations and some even leaving the Church altogether. The laity as well as the clergy and theologians have a voice regarding such serious matters with such potentially dire consequences. Yes, the Lord promised that the Church will prevail against the Gates of Hell, and the Lord's Word is true, and He always keeps his promises. That doesn't mean that we can just decide to sit on the fence and wait until it all gets sorted out. If the issue involves concerns that are beyond our comprehension, then we should stay out of the mix but still remain attentive and try to comprehend the issue(s) in question and their importance, while not allowing our emotions to run away with our minds. If it concerns the Church, it concerns every one of its members, and regardless, we should at the very least pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance on the issue(s).

Ask confirmed Catholics. We are to fight for the truth and against evil. Our lady of la sallette also spoke of two wormridden popes and that Rome would lose the Faith and become the Seat of the Anti-christ. Our Lady of Akita said there would be apostasy and it would begin at the top. We must inform souls to fight against evil. The old adage is Evil abounds, when good people do nothing.

I think if the Jesuits had this attitude at the Reformation there would only be like a few dozen people left in the church. We should try to keep informed and influence the situation wherever possible. Who knows when Bergoglio will decide to take the Eucharist away altogether. Trust, Prayer and adoration are good advice though.

You can choose to ignore everything and live like a hermit but that doesnt mean you'll stop praying for the Pope's intention. And one of his intentions is the Conversion of sinners. He mentioned years back he doesnt want to excommunicate anyone during his term but alas he is doing it now. Why? Because very few of us Catholics pray for the Pope's intentions. So grow alone if you want to. Just to remind you, were never meant to be alone in this battle. We battle our own demons and for one another for Christ' sake.

We are called to be soldiers of Christ not contemplative pasive Buddhists. The faith in Jesus absolute victory at the end of time never made the First Christians passive, just the opposite. Do we need to take breaks and soak in the refreshing "spa" of God's Love? YES, but only to come back to the cross-battle with Jesus. Cultic apostate comments seen here like this one should wake you up: "Vigano should unite himself to the Vicar of Christ in order to be saved." Dark cultic apostasy!

No. It is the obligation of a Catholic to defend the faith against heresy and apostasy. Sticking your head under a rock is cowardice. It is this attitude of delusional cowardice and disinterest of the laity that is the key reason that the Church is in the catastrophic state it is today. We need to be like the martyrs of the past, like the saints who stood against heresy (Athanasius of Alexandria, Ambrose of Milan, Augustine of Hippo, Vincent of Lerins). We should never be like the lapsi, who bent the knee and betrayed the sacred things.

Instead, now my daily regimen is TLM + reading Traditional Catholic books + praying the 15 decades, consecrating many lost souls to the Immaculate Heart. I have found perfect peace, hope, and joy. Don't you think this is more edifying for Holy Mother Church than focusing on the Devil's antics?
