Nobody Likes Night Racing in Need For Speed Heat. Here's Why. 

I think there should be races that you can earn money from at night you know besides the high heat races

The easiest thing for them to do would be once u hit level 50 the nighttime races just turn into money instead of rep

if they added more cars and more additions to the car like front bumpers, spoilers, etc. If they added a blacklist or a longer storyline would make the game itself more interesting. Another good addition is part/cash trucks. In the 2001 fast and furious where dom and his team would hijack trucks to get parts was different and a unique way to get parts without wasting money, the trucks should hold different items other than performance parts, including bumper kits and other visual parts, Cash, or Rep. Any of those could help Need For Speed with the spot there i’m right now and spice some things up.

They should do night off road races and police

I reckon night racing could have Head to Head racing, like Midnight Club LA. Where you go to a car park to pick an opponent, pick your wager (1k to 50k) or even race for pinks. That make night racing more interesting

Junkman exclusive parts that push your vehicle beyond the limitations. Only accomplished and received after winning legacy races( beating shadows of previous game bosses and heros with the car you want the part for) Like Rio Watanabe, Darius, Cross, Razor, Ryan Cooper, The main character of Most Wanted(2005), NFSUG2 main character, Carbon bosses, payback bosses, prostreet bosses and etc. Have regional and Global Blacklist rankings(rankings drivers that accomplish feats like best lap time, most cops evaded/ damaged out, highest drift scores, fastest Drag time, quickest and longest pursuits in lower teir cars higher on the list to balance it).Drag races ( only accessible at night until you build enough hype for day time drag events), Canyon duels, add another map, and Junkman challenges of pursuits and races with assigned vehicles.

If you don’t have friends, playing online is shitty as hell. You send invitation to random people and literally just 10 seconds before the countdown ends they drop the invite. WTF! 😩

I mean as for drifting using all drift parts is suicidal if you can’t control that and stay on the pavement use on road parts mixed with some showcase and add a track differential for stability and when running at night you gonna wanna stick to the city and port races if it’s a backroads race make sure it leads to either of those locations when free roaming to avoid exposure find hideouts behind buildings in trees or whatever gotta be tactical at night

They should add more drift events with no cops at night, nerf the damage that you get by just touch anything in the night

They should add like a tournament or a race to where you win the first race and then have to drive the the second event and if you loose you have too either reset and do the first race or if you win you keep going till you hit 5 races and each race give you bigger rewards and the last one you get like 100,000 or something that would be nice

I hope they bring night time Drag Racing... bring back original NFS nostalgia. Also what about racing for pinks or racing for rare parts, cash off each other? now that be worth my time in night mode. Blacklist, new story I do miss the original NFS most wanted.

Add a system where there’s a top 10/15 list of people ranked based off of total rep that u can see and call it the “heatlist” or go back to the blacklist I think that would bring people to night time for multiple reasons

I haven’t touched the online yet. I just beat the campaign and now rep 31. But the races would be fun and more rewarding if they had “buy in” races. Like everyone bets 20k or whatever and winner takes all!

They should add a event at night where online players can be cops and catch other online players

Adding a heat 6 would be nice, also, at night, you should be able to earn engines or do pink slips in racing. That way, it would make people play the game more!

Add drag races a la the same style as underground 2. Also if they nerf(ed) the cops then add cool down like when you escape then you really escape - cops just don’t spawn at or near your next race. They also gotta do something with “The League” and expand the story line.

I'm maxed level, have all the money I need, all the cars I want, but I still do rep races because it's fun. My mates and I just love the night time atmosphere.

In my opinion I think that they should add another map to the game you would have to be Heat 5 to be able to go to the other map and continue the league with more story added

I think in need for speed we should be able to get out the car to explore other ppls vehicles like when ppl have car meets they'll get more ppl on and we should be able to open different parts like the hood and door, customizable interior, more color options for tires n nos.

One thing they should change is making the races 1 or 2 laps, 3 laps gets boring and waste of time

Wish they would expand on the league, adding new story mode DLC where we have to race at night to climb the ranks in the league, while also earning new performance parts, exclusive cosmetic parts, etc...

They should add like something that’s in nfs no limit mobile how you got to grind for body kits and parts for certain cars

I only really do night racing tbh, I only do day racing if I need money for a car I want. And I can get money from heat 3 & 5 races if I wanted to.

They should have certain day races and as you complete those races you get an invitation to special night race. and since you end up being in the league they should have league types races, where you race other Leagues from other towns.

I totally agree. Im Lvl50 + all parts, but i still primarly race in nighttime anyways, because for fun. I just like it WAY better then the daytime races but it's annoying that daytime is simply way more efficient rewards-wise. From what iv seen, the ingame night/daytime ratio in playercount seems to confirm this aswell, unsurprisingly. The story had a nice balance between earning REP at night, and cash during the day, but rewarding REP is completely useless at lvl50 and effectively ruins that balancing act Heat had going. Drifting at night is sadly even more useless because you still have to swap out parts at high heat races to earn any rewards at all, what a shame. I wish they would just swap REP rewards for money at lvl50, or at least make earning rewards the same as daytime someway. Or add a racetier with money activities at night? Or make REP some sort of currency aswell, not just cash? I really wish Heat gets some firm updates, and id vote this "Nighttime = Unrewarding" situation to be their biggest priority fix.

i think they need to remove the car level cap and make it so that all parts on cars can be ultimate plus, also they should add drag racing, and head to head pvp like just pvp, where you que a race and 12 people from random places can join, and if you dont fill it the rest fills npc, they should also make it so that you and your crew can vs other crews in races

I haven't played nfs heat in about 2-3 months period after being forced to start my whole game over.Right now I'm grinding on AceCombat 7.

What if there was a heat 5 only race or more like chase where there Is a specific cop car in a certain area that if u find and destroy will give u either a money reward or will give you a part for a car that when u eventually get all the parts for that vehicle you can pay to build that vehicle. This way people use the night time mode as well as use some of the different abilities like damage increase to change up the meta of either nitro refill or damage reduction. I know personally that if I could obtain as a gratification stand point I would spend most of my time in the night. Just a thought lmk what you think.

Drag racing is a good idea to add. Possibly bring cash events to the night for people who want the extra challenge... To make the game more fun would be nice if they added fuel and maintenance fluids/ect. More tuning options/weight/aerodynamics/aero chamber Drag strip. Literally 1000x stuff they can add to make the game better.. People probably pay for too... Instead lets keep putting out more games with just enough fun to keep people occupied until the next 60-100$ is spent Edit: GLOBAL LEADERBOARDS

They need to add drag lights by the crates or anywhere that would bring people out an to the races to race an chill or do whatever

Since they decided that for some reason there are only 4 nitrous colors, make it so reaching a certain amount of rep in one night or a certain total rep would unlock new nitrous colors OR you could just customize the colors yourself, and the same thing with the rest of the customization options. Imagine if you could have 3 color step under glows that you could choose the specific color for! That would be awesome And also for the love of god nerf that Porsche

I was in this crew...the leader bragged about the crew being level 50...like gtfo dude u never raced at night...i alone took it to 50 for the fxx, because they where to scared to race at night...

OF COURSE the street races they'we re made to organized in the night in order to avoid any deathwish dangerous for the civilian public's safety & to avoid any potential cop's activity in certain zones that aren't monitorized. Unless you'll still thinking about that MW2005 "works" well for the "street racing" meaning, dont you? I know this is an "arcade" game, but it doesnt mean to the point to corrupt the "street racing" concept...

Cops!!! Have players be cops like in rivals!! Sometimes I like chasing and beating a player and when you beat a player, you get their money and rep they loose and viscera if a racer took out a cop player! That would make some serious competition between players taking eachothers money and rep

bro you know i play solo and i don't like do night race because there is too much bugs. i lost 2 millions rep because of bugs yesterday, some some will bump you but they are invisible and it's the same for the rhino, the rino appears in frond of you and you don't have time to miss it, and the damage got no sense, you will rub a cops you will loose half of your health but he will do a big slam of you you loose nothing, the AI (we should call them adbbecause they're not smart xD),stay on a crossroad it's piss off, then if they patch every bugs, i think i'll take much fun to do night race, cus i must do it, my rew isn't level 50 :(

Street League boss races. you can't tell me you don't enjoy seeing the boss car designs they come up with since most wanted it's been iconic and people love it. Race a Crew at night get money and rep to challenge the boss.

It was weird they hyped up joining the league so much and then when we joined it they barely even highlighted it. Idk I feel like this was rushed and they could’ve but still can do so much more.

They should not have a cap on rank and let us show our ranks to other players. That would be a really dope thing to have, I would defenetly grind some night time to reach level 1,000

NFS Heat has no true risk factor, just a wasted of time. Problem is Ghost didn't put any true thought into the night time. They literally treated as something you gain points for cars & grinding for ultimate parts. Not doing TRUE illegal actives you expect to see at night time races. It was pretty obvious when they didn't put any thought for their pursuit chase tactics. Here the actives that comes to my mind when expecting to see for Illegal night racing: - Drag racing - Pink slips - Betting - Stealing Cars & Parts ets Not present in this title.

They should add bikes to the police so you can knock them down

I feel that we need High heat to races to add more ultimate parts for the chassis, drivetrain and auxiliary categories. In addition, if they add in new bodykits to unlock via high heat races, it would motivate players more. They need to remove the cap on the levels and we defo need new content in the game soon even if it's a new driving story related to drag and speedcross storylines

You do gotta point....we have an option to put on drag tires but there is no drag races. That was dumb.

Much as i love this game being a OG player to the game i think it's time they try the simulation sytle again. The arcade feel is fun but to easy an boring but the heat level omg they hard af😂

They should add a like cops and robbers mode where one team are the underground racers and the other team can control the cops. The underground racers’ goal would be to intercept parts from a truck that would reward them body kits or different parts for the car. It could also hold rep and bank. The cops would try to stop the racers from intercepting by using the cop cars that they choose.

This game was good, but now I find myself playing it for 10-15 min & then I get bored.

They should add a "restrictor plate" races where you can only race below a certain power level, first starts really high, like 390, but it keeps going down as you keep winning these races(at night) and the AI keeps getting thougher... it would be at night and you must be level 50. The reward would be money and more ultimate parts... but as you win races you get a money multiplier (just like rep)

I think that there should be a mode (similar to pay us back’s bait crates) where you enter a pursuit already at heat 5 without your entire hud, and have the police come full on you like I’m talking rivals mode 😅 if you escape the heat then you get a bigger payout than most high heat races. That and pinkslip highway battles; they could make NFS edition cars with unique designs to win.

Night Races are dead, plus we need special cosmetic parts like GT3 kits for the R35, and C7 Vette, we need special kits and special visual parts, not only that, new races at night

And the race Creator wouldn't do much for solo players we need the ability to create races and Implement AI in them

Actually escape the police at night and go to another city that would be nice or rob a police station well a police impound but the car is abandon add more higher level parts to your car at night to outrun the police your car can not be damaged at night. Have the police in your pocket so they won’t bother you while your racing and take over the city and rule the night

I would also like to see the infinity G35 as a driveable car not just a pedestrian car. I have friends that drift those, both 2 and 4 door.

I agree that the game gets boring after while. But the driving experience is the only thing that makes up for that in my opinion

I think there should be league races which can be unlocked after some rep which has rankings and depending on the ranks it would unlock different cars and such or even gamemodes.exp tag races, elimination, drag races

I still go to night from time to time to grind for my ultimate + parts but I usually don't get the ones I want. Also, I think it would be a great idea to add drag races during night. That would give muscles cars some attention, but I WANT drift races/trials that I can do in the night with friends or other players. I'm tired of doing the same 7 races that give me 65k or more during the day. I want other entertaining ways to make money besides racing RSR players all the time. Also, up the rep just a little bit at night.

They could change rep for cash rewards after capping out at lvl 50. Would bring more people to the night. Cop chases could still offer rep. Cause in all honesty I miss the hr+ chases from the original most wanted but there was little to nothing to gain from that

They should allow you to choose which reward you’d like if you finish the race, either RP or CASH

I think they should include something to the night time that is the equivalent of the Dark Zone from the division, and I know these are completely different games but something that’s similar to the concept of the dark zone in the night time would be dope.

Tournament mode! A bunch of races go pvp in a tournament mode and go at it... Just for fun or maybe for pink slips and it don’t have to be just races it could be like drift attacks to see who can hit the hardest line/score amongst real players.

Other than night cruises, there is NO point. I've pretty much ran out of things to do in this game period. Hopefully the next update will bring me back into it.

Speak 4 yourself 😂night races is where you bump heads with the party about who is the better driver. Cops , traffic , watching vehicle damage so you can start a heat 3-5 race. Learn to love it instead of hate it
