for sure, Polish armed forces have always punched above their weight. when I was a nipper one of our neighbours, Mr. Szymanski, was a Polish Para in WW2. they were the lads who finally took Monte Cassino - I wonder if any of today's youth, anywhere, would be capable of such an outstanding feat of arms. RIP Joe Szymanski, a great man (and a good neighbour!!), and all who served with him.
