Heat fan here, I am extremely happy with the Jaime pick, he’s absolutely blown my expectations. After missing out on Damian Lillard, Jaime has made this season very enjoyable. And the best part about it is that Miami didn’t have to give up anything to get him.

That's a cap, I had watched endless scouting reports & I have never seen someone rate him in the lottery. I saw JJJ as immediate help to a team & slowly work towards a starter. When I was scouting only one thing intrigued, I thought he would be somewhere around 20-25 picks, even I thought GSW might pick him, just 1 or 2 weeks before draft I came to know Miami has serious interest. how did you conclude he is top 8 pick?

he was projected to go in the early to mid 20s - concern about his lateral quickness at the nba level - shot the 3 poorly in college( but a lot of them were off the dribble) - highly proficient in the post and a lot of scouted doubted he’d be able to get those touches at the pro level - gonna be 23 in febuary

@FLB9 He's not hurt during the playoff runs they've been on the last 4 years. The 2nd and 3rd best players on this team need to be more consistent. To be honest, he needs another all-star player like the other contending teams. It's impressive that Jimmy has done more with less . They have the most playoff wins in the entire league over the last 4 years....because of him.

jimmy also came in almost a year younger, had more athletic tools and came in on a team with hall of famers infront of him, plus there’s maybe 25-30 players that have hit some of the heights jimmy had hit in his career so far expecting that outta jaime is setting him up for failure
